Anyone remember a few years ago when Walmart had the exclusive rereleases of the Original 12 inch GI Joe's around Christmastime? I wanted to buy the Action Sailor and the diver accessory pack but I never bought them

Lanard has added a couple of ladies to the Corps! They come in two different 3-packs for about $6.50. They are identical except for head and colors.

.I was digging through some figures the other day and found whats probably my first ever fix up. I made a Wolverine for my G I Joes since I used my G I Joes for everything ( G I Joe, Wrestling, Batman, X-Men, and even Ninja Turtles). I remember using this Alley Viper for Wolverine, the Ninja Force Scarlett was my Jean Grey, the blue Snake Eyes was Cyclops, Gristle was Gambit...can't remember the others at the moment.

Anyone on this thread can provide info on why the GIJOE Pursuit of Cobra line was cancelled? I honestly love it! Such detail put into the figures and weaponary, I figured this would be the line to last.

The line was rebranded for the Retaliation movie. 25th Anniversary was replaced by the Rise of Cobra movie line. Then we got Pursuit of Cobra which ended for the Retaliation movie. Now we're getting 50th Anniversary.

Purchased a Spirit vs Storm Shadow 2pack that was just lying around at my TRU. The only other GI Joes they had was that Desert patrol vehicle set with Chuckles and Elite Horseman

Personally I think it's on par with pursuit of cobra as far as it being modernized sculpts and offering accesories, etc. but they are limited to toys r us

I saw the Lady Jaye/Baroness, Snowjob/BAT, Lowlight/Night Viper 2-packs at a couple Marshalls stores over the weekend for $12.99. Not really a great price, considering TRU had some on clearance. Sad how far Joe has fallen.

I think Blowtorch and a few others are repaints of POC figures too. The Snow BAT is pretty phenomenal, especially when you put the battle damage stuff on him.

Sad how far Joe has fallen. They still make cool figures, just not enough people buy them. And this is happening with all toy lines everywhere. It's a bummer.

I really think GI Joe would benefit from the six-inch treatment. I know a lot of collectors have stated their opinions on it, but I would be more interested in buying and collecting the line if they were given the Star War's six-inch black series treatment with a fully articulated and highly detailed paint app with a twenty dollar price tag. I mean could you imagine a six inch Baroness or Cobra Commander?! Not to mention, the line could literally go on forever with the catalog of characters they have.

Grabbed the Storm Shadow/Spirit two pack. Version 2 of Storm Shadow was always my favorite look. I love this figure but I swapped his backpack with the 25th anniversary version. Most of my Joes are put away, but I have a few out, and this one made the cut...

Purchased the Alpine/Shock Trooper/Rock Viper 3pack a few days ago but havent gotten around to opening it yet. Also, bought a loose Law 2000 figure with no accessories at a comic book shop but I equipped him and he is part of my Joe SWAT unit now.

I'm definitely grabbing it when I do though. Brought back memories of being at my grandmother's house in West Orange NJ and walking up the hill on Eagle Rock Ave to the Bradlee's/Caldors dept store and picking up my GI Joes. First one I ever got was Breaker. But when I got the Gung-Ho there he quickly became my favorite.
