I need to get around to FINISHING the Buu saga. I got halfway through it originally, and have rewatched to roughly the same point...I just can't bring myself to finish it. Inspiration? I'm only a little bit into it but Buu vs Gotenks has been pretty good so far and thats saying something, not the biggest fan of Gotenks but also to catch up for Dragon Ball Super, whenever its dubbed See the Cell games and just before/after were completely my jam. Didn't care for Frieza, and haven't finished Buu...so at least I have that.

Started re-watching Yu-Gi-Oh! and damn it's awesome! Finished season 1 and about 10/15 eps into season 2, so much nostalgia! You know, for being such a Yugioh fan I HATED the first season. I LOVED Battle City but sheesh Duelist Kingdom was garbo, no offense Bennie. I mean like, you're wrong, and it's fine that you're wrong, but yeah, you're wrong! Just kidding obv, but yeah I can get where you're coming from. DK was a lot of the same stuff, whereas I feel from there > it's a lot more diversified (as diversified as you can get with the central focus being on the guy the show's named after)

I just thought that the illusion world or whatever it was called and Battle City had much better duels and stories.

I dug Merik as a character, think that's why I liked it.

You guys probably already know this but I'll post it just in case. Crunchy Roll now has a streaming manga service. It's basically their version of Marvel Unlimited.
Also, is it pronounced main-ga or mon-ga?

Well I mean I'm sure Crunchyroll has a free week or two to check it out so don't count it out because maybe they have stuff you're interested in I just know my flavors were in Funimation.

Give Pumpkin Scissors a second look. I almost stopped watching it because of the same thing, except when Randell blew something up it was boring. But once Section Three learns about 901 ATT (The Invisible Nine) it picks up like crazy. Around episode sixish and forward. Some great character development in that show for it only being like 24 episodes or whatever. Oh, really? Awesome! I'll definitely try & pick it back up soon-ish then (there's a long list of anime I've got to watch). Started reading Durarara!! after one of my friend's wouldn't stop talking about it. I can see why she likes it. I've gotten the first volume though I've yet to read all of it. From what I've read though, it's great! From the material I've seen covered in both, I prefer the light novel version to the anime. That could definitely change though but I don't like how the first season of Durarara!! removed the interesting aspects of Mikado's personality. See the Cell games and just before/after were completely my jam. Didn't care for Frieza, and haven't finished Buu...so at least I have that. Freiza Cell Saiyan Buu Best to worst sagas in my opinion My Saga's from best to worst . . . Cell (easily) Frieza Saiyan Buu I really liked the beginning of the Buu saga though, there was actually a point I was thinking it may become my favorite but it takes a pretty big nose dive despite still providing some of my favorite moments (Gohan's awesome pre-battle one-liner to Buu, Candy Vegito). As a side note, I'd watch Battle of Gods before watching Dragon Ball Super. Not only is Battle of Gods dubbed already but Super begins with an adaption of the movie & from the six episodes I saw, it's a far worse version of it.

Y'all need to check out Good Luck Girl. The show itself is funny enough. Bobby is ing hilarious. But the best part about the show and what it prides itself on is it's a show built entirely on stories that survive solely on Easter eggs of other anime/manga. Major notices in just the first few episodes: Death Note Sailor Moon Beck Rosario + Vampire P&S&G Inyuasha Sands of Destruction Soul Eater Soul Eater NOT Full Metal Alchemist Samurai 7 Eden of the East Dragon Ball Z I'm still pissing myself at the Rosario "Paper Club" joke and the OVER 9000 jokes that run rampant. If you're a true anime fan, even if you find the show meh, I don't think it's possible to not enjoy a show built on other shows running gags. It's like the Robot Chicken of anime.

Hey guys! I found the anime page!! I'm currently watching Sword Art Online. For a polarizing anime, I've got to say it will hold a special place in my heart! This anime is the first one that my kids have enjoyed. I've tried with DBZ and Naturo and failed, but SAO works.
I'm a big Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, .Hack, Sailor Moon, Elfen Leid, Devil Hunter Yuko, Yu YU Hakusho, Yu-Gi-Oh, Rurouni Kenshin, DBZ, Ghost in the Shell and Naruto fan. I'm sure there are more, but can't list them all.

I'm sure this question has been asked before but does anyone have a suggestion for a first anime? I hardly watch TV as it is but I've always been interested in anime due to my liking of comic book art. Any ideas?

I hardly watch TV as it is but I've always been interested in anime due to my liking of comic book art. Any ideas? That's a pretty tough question. There's thousands. Give us some background of what kind of movies/TV/books/comics you like and that way we can whittle down the options for you.
