So I found out that Radiohead is playing kinda close to me a couple days after my birthday, but I have no idea if they put on a good show.
Has anybody here been to a show of theirs, or has anyone heard about their shows?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

They are amazing live, they are my favorite band too. Check out their live stuff on YouTube, like Scotch Mist, Live in Paris, and they have a few videos of shows they played recently.

As soon as I read this I immediately checked their tour dates to see if they are playing nearby......they are, but it's up near Seattle in the middle of the week I hate when bands become to big that they don't need to worry about expanding their audience, so the fans are at their mercy and they can play in the most absurd obscure locations and no matter what people will show up.

Uhhhh.. Rant, just based on their videos online they're probably the band that sounds most like they're in the studio while on stage. That's not bias because they're my favorite band, I speak da truth. And yeah, good luck getting tickets.
I've been screwed out of seeing Radiohead three times. But this August, I won't fail. I'm actually nervous for Saturday at 10am, because I spend about 15-20 seconds ordering tickets and they're sold out immediately. One of my favorite bands, Grizzly Bear, is opening for them at the Toronto show so I can't miss it. If I don't get tickets, I'm bringing $300 cash down to the venue and I'm going to deal with greasy scalpers. I'd blow one of them to see this show.

Wow, I had no clue getting these tickets would be so hard. I'm not a huge fan of theirs, but I dig them. I think I'll try to get tickets, and if it doesn't work it wont be a big deal.

I've got tickets to Charlotte May 9!!!!
Download their Bonnaroo show. It's one of their best live shows ever and it's one of Thom's favorites. I almost got to go to this show, it was on my birthday even, but got screwed out of it.

The first concert I ever went to was Radiohead. They still stand up as being one of my favorite concerts.

If you want to see a band that plays every song note for note as it sounds on the record, spend your money on seeing Radiohead. They do it better than anyone.. But if you want to see a band that focuses on improvising, experimentation, and excitement onstage, save your dollars for someone else.

I don't know, all I know is it's a damn good bargain for pit tickets. There's pairs of the same tickets on Ebay for $900, meanwhile people still have Ticketmaster to rely on.

I've never been to where the show even is, so I don't get the whole breakdown of the area. I think my friend might have saw like Bruce Springsteen or some crap at the same place, so I'll have to talk him. I got a good 4 months and a day until the show, anyways.
