Just for those who don't know, Lollapalooza is no longer a tour. It's now a multiple (I think) day festival held once a year in Chicago. With that being said, they almost always have the craptiest lineups, and this year is no different. The only band worth seeing is Nine Inch Nails and there is no way I'm going all the way to Chicago (even though I live in St. Louis) and paying $200+ to see them.

Rage Against the Machine are pretty good... And Flogging Molly are good for a drunken time.

I take back what I said earlier, the initial hype has worn off... I only want to see two of those bands and one of them is Blues Traveler.

Sounds like Rage is night 1, Radiohead is playing night 2, & NIN closing out night 3. These won't be confirmed until June, but its been on the radio today here in Chicago

Rage on my birthday works for me, I know Radiohead wont be playing night 3, they have a show in Indianapolis that night, so that honestly makes sense.
Plus I've wanted to take a trip to Chicago for quite some time, this is going to be the best birthday ever.

Does anyone know when tickets go on sale for single days, and how much they might run by? I hope not much more than $70, I really just wanna see Rage.

Be prepared, ticket prices are obscene & there were a lot of fans pissed about prices. If I remember correctly, last year single ticket prices rose. 3 day passes are between $190-205, so I'm guessing a single day will be around $100
