Well, who remembers wat, 5/6 weeks ago, at Toy Fair, there Jeremy told us that he had lost contact with Bossman's family, meaning that it was doubtful that they'ed sign him anytime soon, however, just over a month later, they sign him.
This, well IMO, shows how determined Jeremy still is to get A-talent signed, after all the bashing he's gotten recently about CS18, ect. just think, he's doing his very best, signing Bossmna shows this.

I think it may be a sign, waht with all the signings they fully intend to carry the Classics line for alot longer than we all imagined 2 or so months ago.

I hope they get Sting to sign with them before the end of the CS line. That would be the best signing to close out the run.

I AGREE, KUDOS TO JEREMY! we bitch a lot on these boards, and bossman was a HUGE step in the right direction.

Signing Bossman only means they know one of their biggest cashcows is leaving in a year and a half, and they need to make as much money from it as they can. It's not that they WANTED to give us Bossman, it's they know a lot of upcoming figs are not going to sell well, so they need to more good sellers. I'm not saying they didn't want to get BBM signed, I'm just saying it probably took this long because they weren't offering enough money, and now since they are losing the license they are probably offering more money to get better names signed.

Jeremy signs Bossman. WF Reaction: Awesome, there going in the right direction! Jeremy for example, signs Randy Orton for CS. WF Reaction: WHAT! THIS IS AN OUTRAGE, JAKKS IS TAKING A STEP DOWN AND TRYING TO CASH IN! BURN THERE HQ TO THE GROUND!

I have been very critical of Jeremy and Jakks lately, due to all the "mistakes" I see coming out. However, the reason we are all so passionate about this toyline is because it's simply the best toyline out there. I know there is some Jedi wannabe who just had his wookie go limp, but it's true. Jeremy has spearheaded a fantastic WWE line. I just want to see that line maintain it's integrity in it's last few years. Don't drown us in re-releases if you really have too many extra unused parts in the warehouse call me I will take like 300 folding chairs and like one of each headscan you have made so far but not the bodies you can reuse them for TNA.

I agree with the above person saying Macho Man. Signing Macho Man Randy Savage would show his ultimate determination.
They need to start releasing more 2 and 3 packs to get more figures out. Let's sign Haku & Tama to make The Islanders.
They keep signing people.. more people that can actually be created into Classic Sets before the time runs out... unless they start having 15-20 wrestlers per set. Stop releasing repaints... Hell, the Honky Tonk Man just released is in a white suit when everyone made it clear they'd buy another one if it was the Blue suit.
I hate the LJN figures.. I wish they would ditch them and release another Classic figure in the set instead. I just got the Ric Flair one and will put it on Ebay due to I bought the whole set.

There is a lot of talent I guarantee that they haven't even tried to sign yet.
I'm sure he's aware of and have tired to sign the top requests, Macho, Owen, Scott Steiner, Steamboat ect.
But how about Hercules, Dino Bravo, Raymond Rougeau(for a two pack with Jacque) Haku......OR 70's stars like Baron Von Rachke, The Sheik, Pedro Morales, Blackjack Mulligan, Dory Funk Jr. or earlier superstars like Gorgeous George, Lou Thez.
There are an awful lot of big names, some of the biggest in the history of the business they drew huge crowds wherever they went.
There is a hell of a lot they need to do, but they keep signing all these relatively current wrestlers like Goldberg, Cena, Trish, Too Cool, Lance Storm, Spike Dudley ect., these are the superstars that will be shelf warmers and have been made recently(at least 90%) and they are taking up spots for wrestlers who paved the way them.

Of course it doesn't show any determination, not until we see the figure done right, which it probably won't be. We'll probably get his TTL Corporation-era headscan on a blue-shirted 80s body. Why? Because that's easier, and cheaper for poor little Jakks.
Think of it this way, two years ago we got an 8 foot tall Paul Bearer figure. In an interview shortly after, Jeremy apologised for this. Two years later, we get an 8 foot tall Jim Ross figure, even when they now HAVE the right parts to prevent this from happening!
Does this sound like a guy who is "determined" to give the consumer what they want, or that listens to any of our suggestions whatsoever?
He doesn't give a crap. Sorry, but it's the truth. Our suggestions on the product have obviously never been taken into account or influenced him whatsoever.
Roll on Mattel, maybe then we'll get the Boss Man figure we're all hoping for.

No offense but there are only a handful of "A List" wrestlers out there not signed to the Classics line and Big Bossman is not one of them.
Don't get me wrong, I'm really glad that Jakks finally signed him. I just wouldn't put him up that high.
Macho Man Randy Savage and Sting are probably the only "A List" wrestlers not signed yet.

I hope we get a Steamboat even if it is just Ricky Steamboat because he is employed with WWE so it wont be that hard cause I happy now I can get a Big Bossman to feud with my Hogan and can do what the WWE would never and that is give him a heavy weight title run in my fed
