We were underdogs going into the Final, playing the top team. Was a good game, 0-0 the whole way through, until they scored in the 92nd minute. Gutting. A loosing face I think not

lofl, i got scouted for southampton when i was like 14. ;[ had right trouble with my quads though, can't play at all anymore. wouldn't have made it though, didn't have the mentality for football. same with tennis, it's why i'm only a coach. i'm not competitive enough.

and hugh, i used to play for southampton accademy! did you go for trials after getting scouted? it is a well good accademy mate. got realeased mid-way through my second year with em. swindon are looking at me atm so i'm hoping that could be my next option as i'm getting on 16 where scholarships start getting offered.

i went for one trial kind of thing, basically just trained with them for a couple of hours one evening. it's way too far to go three times a week though.
my cousin got offered his scolarship for reading. signs up and gets presented before the match against spurs. convenient, as i'm going to watch that match. ;[

There the new AdiPures mate.
I had trials at Brighton twice, and a short spell at Pompey until I broke my collarbone. Southampton's a decent adacemy, Charlton and Arsenal are the best two in the country though.

You look pretty happy considering you lost but I'm sure you had a good game too. A chat about Spurs and Reading sounds good to me

Had a trial at Blackburn when I was 11, all seems a bit much for an 11 yr old to do at least 3 times a week.
City and Arsenal are the best academies in the country.

Had trials with Cardiff back in the day. Dropped out of the footie though which I regret a hell of a lot, cos being an avid fan, it would have awesome to play, but oh well.
