does anyone else think WWE is trying to go back to its classic days. after last nights raw i was thinking about how weird it was that there wasn't many match's and they were pretty lengthly for a raw. plus before every title match last night they did the intros with every one in the ring in their corners kinda like the old days. and now they are bringing back the KOTR idk just my opinion i like it

There were six matches thats about average and sometimes more than we get.
I was more excited about how good the matches were the finishes on the Hooligans-carlito Santino match, and Beth-Mickie were amazing. And the wholeRegal-Orton match was awesome. And I would really love a JBL-HHH fued after Backlash.

They should keep it that way. Intros before title matches, post-match promos. I thought it was cool.

Last night I felt that they were taking a step in the right direction, with the whole Michaels/Jericho confrontation, which could potentially lead to a match during the KOTR tournament next week. Also, Santino & Carlito becoming #1 contenders for the Tag Team titles is great, and I am glad WWE is trying to heat up the Tag and Women's division again. Mickie winning was, awesome, too.

Well, to be honest, last night they were in the UK and historically, RAW is always more wrestling-oriented and less segment-oriented when in the UK such a last year when they had the Cena/HBK bout over there. On a whole though, I think WWE is outstanding so far this year. All the PPV's have been amazing, most of the RAW's have been great (except last Monday's ... awful), but this Monday was excellent and the KOTR should be really fun to watch.

I think they are getting as near to their best (99/00) than they have for years, since maybe early 2002, there has been some sort of downward spiral where the quality has slowly declined, atm they are making stride after stride to climb back to their best.
The good thing imo is that i think they seem to know how to acheive it aswell, it didn't happen by accident that all 3 PPVS this year have been outstanding, it hasn't been by accident that the overall show quality of Raw, Smackdown & ECW has been the best it has been for ages, they know what they are doing, they know what they want to do and i think we are going to be very happy with what we see for the rest of the year and in the future, so long as Hunter realises there is a point to doing the job other than prolonging "the inevitable", it's called the "next generation" of superstars, and he doesn't forget that in two months time, good times are rolling.

I think it was more than likely a one time thing, for the UK. The return of the KOTR is a great idea, get some of the old time fans back maybe.
If they were attempting to go back to the classic days they have a long way to go and would have to change a number of things.
I would love the see the prestige of the intercontinential championship restored! Back to when it was the 'work horse' title

If they go back to the 80's style and concentrate on bad guys vs good guys and competitive realistic wrestling matches with a good build up it would be great.

Naa UK always gets really good raws.. I was thinking the same thing today, it seems us UK'ers get good Raw shows, but really bad SD!/ECW.
