Yeah, I really enjoyed the parts where they showed how they used Maya and such to put together the 3D work in the movie by matching the camera's path with a 3D camera path. It's unbelievable how difficult that would be.

I was also told by the kid at fye that if you pause the movie at 00:24:08 you see a frame from Them!, 00:45:29 you see the creature from 20,000 Fathoms, 1:06:55 there's King Kong, and then he told me at 1:18:08 the credits reveal a message. I'm guessing he was being a jerk about the 1:18:08, but of course being the nerd I am, I had to check it out...I found nothing. Maybe I just didn't look hard enough though, haha.
He also said something about that DHARMA (?) logo being in it somewhere, but I have no clue what that is, so I wouldn't know where to look.

The first four are very much true - if you blink, though, you'll miss them. Watch the camera transistions closely. When Hud rewinds and you see a flashback, the single frame of another monster typically comes during the transition from live action to flashback, or flashback to live action. I know nothing about the 01:18:08 one, though. The Dharma logo is NOT on the DVD version of the film. It IS however in the trailer for the DVD, look in the right hand bottom corner when Clover's foot smashes a tank just beyond a bridge and you will see the logo flash for a single frame.

Any updates on what all those files mean on that hidden menu? I haven't found out anything myself, but I have a feeling its got something to do with Project Cloverfield. I know they have an extensive ARG planned involving the movie, likely going to evolve on cloverfieldfiles.com. In fact, I think the hidden videos may have a connection to the videos already on the website.

I love watching how they made the subway scene. Especially when they show the puppet "attacking" Hud's leg. Gold.

I heard that they put several months of work into the extras on the HD-DVD version. There was supposed to be several hours of extra material. Since that version was canceled, let's hope that they release everything on the Blu-Ray version of the movie.

The alternate endings are stupid --- did I miss something, or are these basically exactly the same thing as the real ending? Kinda spoilers for those who haven't seen it in white: The first one, while the under-the-bridge part was the same, had a different "flashback" after it than what appears in the real movie. It showed them running by what was a subway station, if I remember correctly, with Rob telling Beth something like "You'll remember this day for the rest of your life." Apparently the second one shows that Beth survived, but it seemed exactly the same to me.

It's very, VERY brief, but you can see the outline of a man brushing some dust away from the camera's lens, indicating that they may have been saved.
