I read a comment someone posted on Youtube saying "Wierd" Al's better than the originals. I'd say some(White and Nerdy, Gump, Ebay, etc.), but not all. What do you think.

Some of his are better, but definetly not every one.

Amish Paradise. I like Coolio's a lot as a serious song but Al's is so funny.
It's All About The Pentiums is also amazing.

I vote for hell yes, as I love pretty much everything he does, White and Nerdy definetly being his best.

Definitley, I don't think I like any of the original songs he parodies.

O love Weird Al a lot, but a lot of his work is not better. Maybe as good in different ways but still.
Some, however, is much better and more entertaining than the original...
Though I'll disagree with you listing Gump in that, but I'm a huge PUSA fan.

I gotta vote for "sometimes better." I was a huge Weird Al fan growing up... had all of his tapes/CDs.
But I can think of several of his parodies that sucked compared to the original. "Bedrock Anthem" just didn't do it for a Chili Peppers parody. "Gump" was OK, but I prefer the original by a long shot.
On the other hand, the following were all better than the originals in my opinion: --Amish Paradise --White & Nerdy --All About the Pentiums --Taco Grande --Plumbing Song (just for the cool transition from one Milli Vanilli song to another, where it transitions to "Blame it on the Drain")
Honorable mention to "Smells Like Nirvana," which is amazing, but not quite better than the original.

His last two albums were garbage. But some of his older stuff was awesome. "Another One Rides The Bus", "Yoda", "It's All about The Pentiums" are all gold.
