New MK film in pipeline for 2010 cast members supposedly in it are
Talisa Soto(Kitana in the first two films) Chris Lambert(Rayden in the first film) Linden Ashby(Johnny Cage in the first film) Sandra Hess(Sonya in the second film) and Chris Cassamassa(Scorpian in the first two films)
A decent prospect i liked Ashby and Lambert in the first one disapointed they weren't in annihilation would only work with Robin Shou(Lou Kang from the first and second film). what do you think?

Yeah I have read about this but I put it in the same category as Transporter 3. Who cares.

Yeah I have read about this but I put it in the same category as Transporter 3. Who cares. Mortal Kombat probably has a bigger fan base than the transporter because of the game and people who saw the first two would prob want to check this out. Yo be fair the first transporter was decent.

I'm almost positive Robin Shou has been confirmed to renew his role as Lui Kang for a long time now.

Didn't they learn anything from the fact that Annihilation was the worst movie I ever paid full price to see?

I think I'd rather get a giant sling shot and shoot myself into a glass factory than to be subjected to another MK film.

Well at the same time maybe they will learn and someone else like Miramax will produce it and giev it the budget it deserves.

Johnny Cage is still dead according the the films. At the end of Annihilation everyone was brought back EXCEPT Cage and nobody seemed to notice or care! It was the only thing about that movie I enjoyed!

They started production in 05 but were hampered by hurricane katrina so they've put it off but its being made and all the original cast is in it skipping the second film as if it didn't happen except sonya from the first one who isn't coming back but Robin Shou is.

Well I do know that another MK is in the works. Kinda like how another Spawn is in the works alongside Soul Calibur and Onimushu.

Chris lambert has confirmed multiple times that he is signed on to do MK3. The first mortal Kombat was one of the best video game adaptions ever. Way better that Street fighter, Mario brother and all 3 resident evil movies, anniliation on the other hand, was better than Mario brothers.

Your a moron number 1 and number two I dont read wikipedia, I happen to read a few articles about 1-2 months ago about a reboot, devastation is NOT coming out I'll repeat myself. I dont care who is signed on because they were signed on for New Line Cinema contracts and they no longer have the rights to produce a Mortal Kombat movie.

Maybe you should take your own advice and not read wikipedia you cocky son of a bitch.

The second wasn't that great, but better than Mario or Street Fighter.

I enjoyed the first one, pretty good for a movie based off a game. The second however was terrible. I'll probably end up seeing the third, there is no way it can be worse than the 2nd.

Also from wiki:
The only plot information about Devastation is that it will be a reboot of the MK film saga.[4] 2010, thirteen years after Annihilation, has been listed as a tentative release date. The status of the film as of today, following the end of the 2007 writers strike in February 2008, is that "the producers are working out their deals with the studio and arranging their financing."[3]
Robin Shou is currently doing Street Fighter, I've heard nothing about him being in MKD.
