The blair witch project is playing on the TV in the background as i'm using the computer, and i missed something i wanted to find out.
If you've seen the movie before (i haven't), perhaps you can answer this for me.
This takes place in daylight. All of a sudden everyone starts yelling at one guy, and they keep telling him that it's his fault if they all get killed/hurt. My question is, what did this guy do to put them in danger?

Yeah he threw the map down the ing creek. It's still a pretty stupid plot. I think the filmmakers were going for "the woods make you do crazy things" but it unfortunately fell pretty short.

A group of film students go stir crazy in a house in the woods while trying to find out what happened. All the actors use their real first names as their character names. Was a complete piece of crap

The story isn't that original, cannibal holocaust anyone? Very true, but in BWP defense it kind of took it a different direction. I think I might pick up a copy of BWP, it's been a long time, it had a really nice hype back when it came out with the whole "is it real" thing. I also recall really liking the ending.

The story isn't that original, cannibal holocaust anyone? The idea of people getting lost in the woods is similar. The plot, idea, camera work, etc are completely different. I can't stand when people compare Cannibal Holocaust and The Blair Witch project. They're COMPLETELY different.

They never return, their footage is found. Plot of Cannibal Holocaust: A group of people go looking for a tribe. They never return, thier footage is found. Your right, COMPLETELY different... Calm down chief. I wasn't saying that the movies are identical, I was saying the story and idea of BWP is much like that of CH.

BWP wasn't a great movie, but at least it was interesting and different. Not to mention that it was the precursor to viral marketing.
The ending was absolutely brilliant though
