Dear Friends, I am sorry it has taken me so long to write, but I feel kindo silly posting without anything too interesting to say. I've also been stalling to talk about some big Scrubs news, however I've just been informed that I'm not allowed to talk about anything related to Scrubs and it's current fate. What I can tell you is that we are currently shooting 18 episodes for the 8th season. I am not allowed to discuss where one might watch them. (More news to come.)
But I can tell you that the coolest episode we've ever done is going to air on May 8th at 8:30(E/P). I directed it and it's a GIANT homage to "The Princess Bride". Dr. Cox has to make up a fairy tale for his son and he does so using everything that happened in the hospital that day. It's by far the most epic (and expensive) episode we've ever done. (Monsters, potions, evil wizards, giants, hunchbacks, gnomes – like "World of Warcraft", but Scrubs…) I'll be posting an exclusive clip on this site in a few days.
posted by Zach Braff in a new blog on Myspace on Monday. So Season 8 is gonna happen but they are not revealing the network at this time. Also, next week's episode sounds bad ass.

I would love to see scrubs move to a network like FX where they can be a little edgier... not gonna happen, likely ABC will gobble it up, but I can dream...

I wonder why NBC would let this show go? Too expensive? Low ratings? If thats the case why is another Studio picking it up?

NBC needs to let 30 Rock go too, I mean the show wouldnt work not being on NBC but they promote 30 Rock less than Scrubs if thats possible

I thought tonights episode was pretty solid. Not hilarious but still good. It was def made to set up some future story with Elliot and JD. I did however miss seeing Kelso around.

It's funny how NBC is advertising next weeks episode as the "Finale". This means that it's definitely headed for ABC. It was widely speculated that if the move happened that NBC would continue to promote the last episode of this season as the finale. I hope if they put JD and Elliot together that they just go ahead and have them be together through the entire 8th season. Next weeks episode looks to be great. Looked to me as if Kelso was back in the hospital working in the preview after tonights episode.
and...
I would watch the hell out of "Legal Custodians"

I am going to go on a long shot here and guess that Elliot gets pregnant in season 8.

anyone else think that legal custodians bit was a hint at a spinoff where janitor and ted work at another hospital or something?

I thought the reason for the network issue was that NBC was airing the shows but ABC was producing it and the contract's ending

*Catchy theme song hits*
Ted:"I'm a lawyer"
Janitor:"I'm a janitor"
Both:"Together we adopted a cute little kid. We're Legal Custodians, get it?"
*Catchy theme song ends*
