Paramore and The Secret Handshake are my top 2, (I like blink 182 btw but there really not that "great" live in these terms). They sound great, and still have energy to make songs fun and enjoyable. Who else do you think makes this list. and lipsynchers dont count.

The Flaming Lips will rock your face off. At a festival I went to ("SARSstock" in '03), the Lips only got to play for 15 minutes! Wayne was spinning around that gigantic earth ball.

Mushroomhead. You can hate their music, but damn are they amazing live. Metallica, if you're a fan has a pretty awesome feeling to their live shows. And the absolute best, Tool.

Guns N' Roses. Whenever Axl is on stage he totally brings everything: the voice, the moves, the energy, the power, and most importantly the stage presence, I think no other frontman currently possesses that much presence besides Robert Plant. And he's 46. I heard KISS puts on a helluva show, and when Velvet Revolver was alive, they (Slash and Duff really) rocked.

Foo Fighters, they will give you a show you will never forget. Foo Fighters is definitely up there. Deftones and My Chemical Romance are my top two. I saw Switchfoot a couple weeks ago and they were pretty damn amazing as well, I've never heard a band sound so tight and cohesive. Fantastic.

Breaking Benjamin Every Time I Die Shadows Fall Amon Amarth Chimaira GWAR Dream Theater Jonny Lang
For any wondering, my concert experiences are so varied because I was technically working security at the venue where all the major concerts go down, but landed a sweet upper-floor gig where I did little and rocked out much.
Breaking Benjamin is absolutely phenomenal live. They really tore the house down, every time I hear one of their songs I remember that night. Lang had some SICK solo's, at one point the drummer went on for almost THREE MINUTES. GWAR was one of the craziest spectacles I've ever seen.

Dave Matthews Band and Pearl Jam are my top 2. I'm glad someone else mentioned Switchfoot too, because they're wicked live.
