These are his next movies coming out. Read from the bottom of the list up
Chad Schmidt (Actor)
Hatfields and McCoys (Actor)
The Fighter (Actor)
The Sparrow (Actor)
Tree of Life (Actor)
12/19/2008 The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (Actor)
09/12/2008 Burn After Reading (Actor)
09/21/2007 The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (already out I know)
I mean.. what is the guy thinking. Most of these films are crap and really.. I can't even imagine why he is doing them. At least Babel was a great story and really just needed some more tweaking despite it being so touted. And Ocean's 13 was entertaining at best.. but man. Hatfields and McCoys... oO? WTF!!

He is probably thinking, "My wife is smoking hott, I do not care what movies I'm in."

He is probably thinking, "My wife is smoking hott, I do not care what movies I'm in." lol True that. I just really can't figure out what kinda movies he's into nowadays. The only one that sparks my interest is the Fighter being filmed with Mark Wahlberg and being directed by Daron Aronofsky.

Um.. in my opinion, Brad Pitt is at the peak of his career right now. Firstly, Jesse James was the role of his life and the kickstart of amazing Oscar-ish roles that aren't "hey I'm the cool hot guy who doesn't do anything, now where's my 20 mil?" in the Ocean movies. And the dude made me cry in Babel. Burn After Reading - A ing Coen Brothers film. Clooney, Malkovich, Swinton.. already has Oscar written all over it. Pitt plays a personal trainer who finds a CIA disc and tries to sell it. Among my most anticipated of the year. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - David Fincher (Fight Club, Seven, Zodiac) directing, Cate Blanchett, Pitt slowly aging backwards throughout the film. Will get an Oscar nom. THIS is probably my most anticipated behind The Dark Knight. Tree of Life - A sci-fi Terrence Malick film with Sean Penn, c'mon! The Fighter - Aronofsky directing a boxing movie with Wahlberg and Pitt as brothers, I'm so there. Chad Schmidt - Really interesting plot with Pitt playing himself and Chad Schmidt, a man who's having a hard time getting work in Hollywood because he looks too much like the already-famous Pitt. Pitt himself said it's just an idea currently. I can't find any info on The Sparrow or Hatfields and McCoys. And it wasn't mentioned, but 2009's Dallas Buyer's Club will be Pitt's first Oscar. In my top 5 actors, the dude's a god.

Maybe he's taking the Samuel L. Jackson approach: as the man of the house, it's his responsibility to get up every day and go to work.

How can you judge movies based solely on their titles?

How can you judge movies based solely on their titles? I wasn't necessarily basing it solely on their titles. I did read what they were about. I can say that despite his ability to act, which I consider very highly, I just really don't see the type of movie he is trying to get. Now if he is trying to really get some great acting ala his early 90s movies then great. They were scattered all over with a myriad of plots then awesome. He is trying to say I cannot be type casted and I can actually win a damn oscar, then fine. That was all I was trying to get at.

Brad Pitt is a genius when it comes to movies. He is at the top of his game right now, and keep on rollin' over.
It's not about getting an Oscar, it's about acting.

Brad Pitt can make any piece of crap into a good movie -- he's that good of an actor.
... And a damn handsome man, might I add.

Outside of "Interview with a Vampire", "Fight Cub", "Meet Joe Black" and "Snatch", Pitt's always found it hard to get meaningful roles where his acting can truly shine over the "name value".

According to Maladroit, and I'll trust him on this one because I haven't seen it yet, his part in "Jesse James" is the greatest thing he has done to-date.

He is very good in this movie, but I don't know if I would go so far to say it is the greatest thing he has ever done.... I think Fight Club is without a doubt his best performance followed by Meet Joe Black and Legends of the Fall.... I can't believe this thread about upcoming crap movies was even made...I am excited for every single movie that he has coming out in the near future...Brad Pitt can do no wrong

He's thinking, "I don't care what you think because I get $20 Million a picture, and then I come home and have fantastic freaky sex with a hot lunatic."
