I usually browse IMDB, or the Internet Movie Database, and their birthday listings for the day and I saw Owen Hart's name was listed.
He would've turned 43 years old today.
Discuss the life and career of Owen Hart and where you think he would've been at age 43 in the year 2008. I believe he would have retired several years ago but likely still would've been involved in the wrestling business in some way or another. I could also see him and Bret touring the country for autograph signings, or even the Anvil and Owen together.

Owen was one of the best and my fav of all time along with Bret. So many small things could have saved his life, if he took the storyline with Debra he wouldn't have had to be the blue blazer, if the equipment worked properly, sad, I was reading in a book I think Foleys that JR told him that when Owen fell he went to leap up but died before he could get to his feet. RIP Owen!

I'm not too sure where Owen would be today, but I know it wouldn't be in wrestling. He would be long retired by now and just spending time with his family, living a quiet life in their dream home. But, unfortunately that never happened....
If Owen were still alive today, I'm sure he would've wrote a book about his life and times in wrestling and all the numerous ribs he pulled. I'm sure it would've been a great read. He was taken much too soon like so many others...

I posted a story awhile back about meeting Owen. You guys should go through and read it. It is a moment I will never forget. He was truely a class act.

Honestly, Owen is the only wrestler thats passed away that i truly miss. Simply for the fact that of every wrestler thats died the past 15 years, he's the only one that didnt bring it on himself

Owen was always my favorite member of the Hart family. I was sad when he died.
I think that he would have had at least one run as WWE champion, hell I could se him still in WWE right now.

Yeah Owens death was very tragic. I know they were alot of bandwagon jumpers aftetr his death, but as a kid, when you cheered for the good guys and hated the bad guys. (lol) He changed my mind when he beat Bret in that cage match, and i was a Owen fan after that.
Anyway, i would of liked him to win a major title, but i dont think they would of gave him a run. I could see Owen as a heel manager of some young up and coming tag team. But sadly we will never know.

I do miss Owen. I don't think Owen would be in wrestling today. There was talk of him retiring in a few years back in 1998-1999. I do think he might have gotten a run as WWF Champion as in the fall/winter of 1997 Vinc elisted him as one he had high favorites on.
Of all the wrestlers that have passed, Owen, Eddie, & Hawk are the ones i always find myself wishign things had been different. Owen's situation was preventable and that just makes it even more sad to know he is gone.

I miss Owen, he was one of my favorites as a kid. I remember going to school that day in utter disbelief that Owen had died (I heard about it on the news that morning), and that night on RAW, I saw that he really was dead.

He was promised a run with the title if he stayed with the WWF as opposed to following Bret to WCW.
