WOW! I was throughly impressed by Marvel Studios. They kept to the basic same origin as the original comic, with some minor theatrical and modern adaptations and produced a great comic book film. This definitely ranks as one of my favorites in comic book fims to movies. Robert Downey Jr. is absolutely amazing and made the absolute PERFECT Tony Stark. If you havent seen it.....I highly recommend it. The Iron Man suits look great, the acting is superb, special effects were dazzling and they had a great villian.
My only gripe is the movie is a bit long. The beginning is great, the middle drags quite a bit and the end is awesome as well. Thats my only complaint. That and I wasnt big on the romantic love affair between Tony and Pepper. Oh well.
Highly recommend this film if you have not seen it. It is worth the price of admission and I will most definitely get this on DVD when it hits. Cant wait.

Yeah, it is definitely great. I don't think it dragged at all. Hell, I don't even know how long it is. I was just having fun watching it and completely lost track of time. I've seen it twice now. Definitely in my top 5 comic movies.

I'm finally going tomorrow. If my friends bail out, I'm going alone.

I've seen it twice so far, its incredible and really is one of the best comic films ever. The love story between Stark and Potts didn't bother me either as it wasnt one of the main focal points of the film, just something to give it more depth.

Thought it was good, but nothing better, ending was a bit lackluster.

Iron Man is easily one of the best comic book movies EVER!
It was way better than I thought. Blew Spiderman 3 away by a long shot IMO.

I honestly thought everyone was just giving it good reviews for the special effects...until I saw it. I definately loved it. And Downey is now among the ultimate douchebags that I love. He and Patrick Bateman are a match made in heaven.
