Im new to the boards and havnt had time to search but if this had been posted I apoligize. I found this on wikipedia. Does anyone have the photos?
The final series of figures that were scheduled but never produced included: Bad News Brown, Brother Love, Bushwhacker Luke, Bushwhacker Butch, Demolition Smash and The Barbarian [3]. Photographs of these susperstars appeared on the backs of the black Series 6 Superstars '89 cards and they were mentioned in various ads contained in 1989 issues of Pro Wrestling Illustrated and their various publications.

Photos of the actual figures were never released and speculation is that prototypes were never even created (although some claim Bad News Brown proto figure was shown at Toy Fair that year, no one has been able to find photographic proof). The pics on the backs of the cards were actual photos of the superstars and not of figures.
The names mentioned were solicited. I remember pre-ordering them from an ad in Pro Wrestling Illustrated (for a company called "The Wrestling RIng" I believe, which shortly after became a Nintendo game seller), but the money was later returned with a message stating that the line had been cancelled.

the rumors about this series will never stop... I believe when Jakks stops with there lines.. there will be tons of rumors for the same thing..it never ends
Brown did claim in a shoot interview with the rfvides.com that his LJN figures was never released cuz "vince was a racist and so was Pipper." I don't understand how being a racist would have anything to do with making your figure? what an ass

Yeah, why was SD Jones, Kamala, Koco B Ware and JYD & Slickster released if they were racists against blacks?

he was mainly crying about himself..I guess he was having a pitty party for himself.. he trashes on Savage, Hogan, warrior , Andre, Vince, Pipper and others saying they hated black people and that is why he was never wwf champion. He was not champion cuz he was a fat pile of crap that can't wrestle. Bret even said that Brown's style of wrestling was poor at best.. he would cut you off during the "baby face come back" during a match. ( credit to rfvideos.com shoot interview by bret hart)
I never liked the guy wrestling wise.. I don't know him personal.. but from what I have see/read about him. He seems like another guy like Warrior, greg the Hammer, Honky etc... that think they are the best and they should have been world champion number of times.. They will never be aable to hold a candle to guys that can wrestle like Michaels, Rock, Flair, Austin, Triple H, Y2J, etc.. those guys can wrestle and bust there asses to have a great match.
And I will say this.. Bad News Brown has never made me want to buy a ticket for a live event that he was wrestling on the card. Flair, Michaels, Hogan, Rock, Undertaker..those guys have made me want to go to a house show, live raw, WM23, etc...
later dudes

Dusty Rhodes was World Champion on numerous occasions, but he was horrible in the ring. Flair also wasnt the greatest actual wrestler. he was great on the mic and could hold his own in a match, but he cant be considered a great wrestler, wrestling wise. he was decent at best in the ring. same with The Rock. and are you seriously saying that Hogan was a great wrestler. throughout his entire career his movelist consisted of 5 basic moves. Austin was a very good wrestler as is Y2J, Triple H is decent, but there is no way you can say that Hogan and Flair were better wrestlers than Allen and Valentine. they were much, much, much better on the mic, but they definitely culdnt out wrestle either one of them.

if read what I said.. I said that Greg Valentine said that he should have been champion. I never said he couldn't wrestle. In his shoot interview with the rfvideo. They asked him who was the greatest world champion of all time..he said himself.. if they would have gave him the title. and Like I said.. Greg Valentine has never put my ass in a seat for a live event. Never.
I never said that Hogan was a great wrestler... I said he has put my ass in a seat.. that's what I said.. Guys like Michaels, Rock, Flair, Austin, Triple H, Y2J, CAN WRESTLE!! That is what I said. I also said that Flair, Michaels, Hogan, Rock, Undertaker, Austin Have made me want to buy a ticket and PUT MY ASS IN A SEAT! Not Greg!! That is what I said.
Next time read what I said before you reply.

you should read your own words. you put Greg Valentine in the same category as the Ultimate Warrior. Warrior was not a good wrestler. Valentine was. they are not in the same category. and Warrior was a world champion (why, i'll never understand). Flair and The Rock were not great wrestlers, they were decent at best and could hold their own in a match. neither one of them can be considered a great wrestler, wrestling wise. they both were great on the mic and it's what made them top stars and get them as top stars. you clearly stated that Bad News Brown was "a fat pile of crap that cant wrestle". he was a much better wrestler than both Flair and The Rock. perhaps you should watch his non WWF matches, specifically his match with Antonio Inoki from 1981, and most of his matches from that time period when he was Bad News Allen. he also had a great series of matches with Dynamite Kid during that time as well. so clearly you've never seen him wrestle, and if you think that both Flair and The Rock are great wrestlers and that Allen cant wrestle, your knowledge of wrestling is quite limited as well.

They asked him who was the greatest world champion of all time..he said himself.. if they would have gave him the title. and Like I said.. Greg Valentine has never put my ass in a seat for a live event. Never. Here's what you said: He (Brown) was not champion cuz he was a fat pile of crap that can't wrestle. Bret even said that Brown's style of wrestling was poor at best.. he would cut you off during the "baby face come back" during a match. ( credit to rfvideos.com shoot interview by bret hart) I never liked the guy wrestling wise.. I don't know him personal.. but from what I have see/read about him. He (again, Brown) seems like another guy like Warrior, greg the Hammer, Honky etc... that think they are the best and they should have been world champion number of times.. What I'm getting to is: Brown made an ass of himself, with the whole racism thing, 'cause as we all know there were afro-americans in the LJN-line up. However, when a wrestler is in the WWF/WWE, you can't judge whether he's talented or not. Big and/or heavy guys aren't exactly allowed to show off their technical skills in the WWF/WWE. Definitely not in the '80s. Thing is: the WWF era of the LJN years (1984-1989) was centered around the rock'n'wrestling period and gimmicks! You had to be colorful, whether heel or face. Hogan (obviously) was... as were JYD, Hillbilly Jim, Roddy Piper, Iron Sheik, Jimmy Snuka, etc. Brown wasn't, he was just a heel. Watch japanese matches of all these guys- when gimmicks don't count, and you'll see Brown wasn't so bad as a wrestler. Back on topic: series 7 would've been nice.

....brown was a great judo player and a legit tough guy, thats why he wrestled for the uwfi organisation in japan after his wwf career and was pretty good too.......
...he fitted in well with the 80's 'bad guy brawler' image in the wwf and i loved watching him on weekly t.v squashuing the prelims with his ghetto blaster kick. i miss squash matches.

Yeah, why was SD Jones, Kamala, Koco B Ware and JYD & Slickster released if they were racists against blacks? Not disagreeing with you, but in pointing out that the WWF wasn't racist, Kamala is kind of a bad example. His gimmick of being the unwashed savage who can't speak, can't think for himself, and needs a "handler" in a safari costume plays off a pretty significant negative stereotype of black people. True, the WWF didn't create the gimmick. But the fact that the gimmick was embraced by promoters and fans in multiple territories, including the WWF, is at least partially due to the fact that most people saw nothing offensive about the gimmick. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Kamala himself would acknowledge that the gimmick worked wonders for his career, despite his past complaints that he routinely got shafted on his payoffs. EDIT: I also recall reading that Slick was a little upset about the "Jive Soul Bro" video they made him do, where he basically sits and eats fried chicken (calling it "yard bird") and brags about being a womanizer.
