so last night I turn on my computer and everything's fine, I check wfigs, email, the usual stuff... afterwards I just shut down and go to bed.
Ok, this morning I turn on my pc and... nothing. it goes through all the memory stuff and bootups but when it's time to show the Windows XP screen: nothing comes on. I once again try to boot up, now trying to go in Safe Mode, but then "missing HAL.DLL, please re-install" comes up.
How do I fix this without reinstalling Windows?? I've looked around for some pointers and I think I have, but I'm at work right now and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem before?
