TMZ.com has posted audio of a chat between Hulk Hogan and his son Nick from jail. Amongst the things that were discussed were how the victim John Graziano, who is in a permanent vegetative state due to the accident that Nick caused, was a negative person and Hulk stating that God laid some "heavy s**t" on him because of things that he was "into."
It only gets better as they later talk about creating a reality show for Nick once he's out of jail, with Hulk suggesting the title "The New Nick". Nick states that "I want to do it where I'll make the most money."

Isn't that crap against the law? If the prison is releasing those conversations? And Nicks still an idiot. He will be changed for about 2 months. Then go back to being the same jackass.

Well, as bad as the conversation was, all it did was make Hogan and Nick some cash. That is illegal wire tapping if I've ever seen or heard it. Sure, the jail has every right to listen in on a conversation with an inmate, however, they have no right to release those tapes to the media and you know damn well that TMZ paid for that tape.
There will be a lawsuit and The Hogan's will win. Expect an out of court settlement to be announced sometime in the future.
Also, just to touch on the whole situation with the accident.
First of all, Nick was the minor in the car and Graziano was the adult. So the one who should've been most responsible was Graziano. He didn't put on his seatbelt.
Graziano was friends with Nick for years. It's not like he just met Nick. So he knew how Nick liked to drive. He also spent the entire day with Nick on that boat and knew he was drinking. So yes, Nick was beyond stupid in the situation, but let's not let Graziano off the hook either. He made a choice to get into the car with an intoxicated speed demon and then chose not to put on his seatbelt. He was just as stupid as Nick.
As for all of you wishing rape upon Nick, you make me sick. Again, you base your stupid comments on the fact that you dislike Hulk Hogan for being a politician. Think about that. You wish rape on a kid because his father held onto his spot in a predetermined business and kept your favorite wrestler from getting a push. How stupid is that? When you go into the REAL business world, why don't you tell your district manager that he's stupid for holding onto his job and that he should make way for the younger guys so they can get his job and move up the ladder. See how well that works. Nobody in any top position in ANY profession is going to give up his spot just so someone else can move up in their business. Go tell a CEO that he's held onto his job too long and that he's too old and should retire so a young guy can "have a chance". Do that and then tell me how good the view is from the unemployment line.

The fact of the matter is, Hulk bought the beer according to news reports, and Nick was driving the car, and John is not injured. It doesn't matter that John got in the car, Nick drove, Nick is responsible for this entire situation, and he should be the one in trouble. He was underage drinking, and he crashed the car, end of story.

It doesn't matter that John got in the car, Nick drove, Nick is responsible for this entire situation, and he should be the one in trouble. He was underage drinking, and he crashed the car, end of story. No, it's not the end of story. We live in a world where people pass the buck and blame everyone else for their stupidity and refuse to take responsibility for their actions. Nick was stupid and he is doing time to pay for his lack of judgement. The courts made him take responsibility. Graziano has to take responsibility for his lack of judgement too and thus is suffering for his stupidity as well. As an adult, I have NEVER gotten into a car with anyone who was drinking. That's the responsibility that I take for my own health as an adult. The fact remains that you have people on this board that will give Benoit a pass for murdering his wife and child and those same people then turn around and wish rape on Nick Hogan for driving fast while drunk. Do you see how stupid that is? Nick was being a typical stupid kid and his friend willingly went along with it. Totally different than a grown man strangling his wife and child. Do you know that it takes about 3-4 minutes to strangle the life out of a person? It's not like the movies where you choke someone for 10 seconds and they keel over dead. You have to place your hands around a person's throat and continuously squeeze for 3-4 minutes and watch and feel them spasm and kick and gasp. You watch as the blood vessels in their eyes burst and the whites turn blood red. You watch as they piss and **** themselves. That is a real life strangulation. Now imagine that being done to a woman that is half the size of the man and then a small child who is a quarter of the size of the man. If any of you can still defend Benoit after knowing the details of what it takes for him to do what he did, then I feel sorry for each and every one of you.

Congratulations, you just turned this into a Benoit thread, something as to which had nothing to do with the topic at hand. The fact of the matter is, Nick wrecked the car, and Nick injured the guy. Of course, John was stupid enough to get in the car in the first place, I understand that, but Nick's father provided the alcohol, Nick drove the car, Nick crashed the car, and Nick is the one paying for it. And if you can honestly sit here and defend Nick Hogan, I feel sorry for you.

By it's very definition this isn't even wire tapping, never mind on the illegal front. Jails monitor all calls in and out of the institution for alot of reasons, there is no tapping involved, and seeing as it's their own phones, if there was tapping, it wouldn't be illegal. Don't just throw that buzz word out there because you hear it int he media, it pertains to something totally different. The legality of releasing the tapes is questionable though. I'm not going to just out right say it's illegal because it's actually quite surprising the power jails have over inmates once they enter the system. In jail you forfeit alot of rights, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this is completely legal.

As I listen to these I feel like Linda is the only sincere person, what she's saying could deffinitly be true, about how John's mom and him weren't really that close, and how she feels liek she's suffering double because of Nick and John's fate.
Also even though he doesn't seem remorseful I got to cut the kid some slack for the things you guys are pegging him on. If you went to jail you to would complain to your loved ones about the quaters you're living in, it's a natural thing. And the thing with saying John was a negative person is kind of taken out of context, again they know him, and they're both just saying that his persona was aggressive and negative. Although the reality show thing is highly disturbing.

It becomes illegal wire tapping once they use that conversation for anything other than what pertains to the prison. Once they sold that tape, which is audio, that became illegal wire tapping. Trust me, I am very well versed in this. It's the same concept behind why a store can only videotape you on a security camera and not record sound. Once they record sound, it becomes illegal wire tapping and they can be sued. The prison has every right to monitor the conversation but it's a violation of Nick's civil rights to take that tape and sell or give it to the media!
