I am trying to burn a dvd of some things on my computer. I am using Sonic. When I try to add a file to the DVD it says "Could not make a thumbnail. Make sure you have the appropriate decoder installed." So how do I find out which decorder I need and where do I download it? Thanks.

At the end, I tried many DVD burning programs but I don't remember well. Nero do this but with the chapter question, it wasn't very good to customize (with the version I owned). Try to check www.download.com in the appropriate category.

To burn actual DVD's, I recommend 1 Click DVD Copy. To burn things I have on my PC to DVD, I use Nero. I have yet to have a problem with either.

If you are trying to author a DVD I recommend a program called TMPGEnc. Not a very catchy name but google it and check it out. It's extremely easy to put the footage together and add menus and thumbnails.
