Hey,
Ok, I think it's safe to say that most of us saw Raw this past Monday and the ensuing Draft through-out the night.
Anyways, we saw the then SmackDown announce team of Mick Foley and Michael Cole, the long-time Raw announce team Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross and the hideous combination for ECW, Tazz and Mike Adamle.
So, during the night I could swear during Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly's entrance, I coudl swear I heard Mike Adamle call Cody Rhodes "Cory Rhodes". LOL. ;D Can anyone confirm that?
Plus, the WWE United States champion Matt Hardy had just been drafted to ECW and barely 10 minutes goes by and I hear Mike Adamle on commentary saying that "ECW had been shut out thus far in the WWE Draft"
And almost immediately, Tazz jumped in there and corrected Adamle's sorry ass and said "No, we've got Matt Hardy now" or something along those lines.
Could it be that he had already forgotten about Matt Hardy getting drafted to ECW within 10 freaking minutes?? If so, then that's pretty bad..
Man, I don't think words can describe how bad Mike Adamle actually is as an announcer. He's flat-out awful. Just awful.
He's one of the new highlights on those "Botchamania" clips on Youtube.
I actually believe you can devote one whole "Botchamania" episode to Mike Adamle. He's THAT bad.
Anyways, enough of the rambling here. It's a simple question, with a straight-up yes or no answer.
Should Mike Adamle be fired? Yes or No.

People are being way too harsh on him. Sure, the guy makes an occassional mistake, but he has improved so much since his debut on ECW, a few months back. In time, I'm sure he could become a decent commentator, so I say no, don't fire him.

How in the world has he improved when I just clearly pointed out two obvious mistakes he made this past Monday on Raw?? How is that improvement?? Cory Rhodes and forgetting about Matt Hardy getting drafted within 10 minutes...Come on man, that isn't improving at all. That's actually getting worse I'd say.

Adamle probably isn't familiar with either, Matt Hardy or Cody Rhodes. Keep in mind that his primary brand is ECW. The man clearly doesn't know much about wrestling, altogether. As I said before, over time, Adamle will start to get familiar with names, matches, and the overall, history of the buisiness. The mistakes that he's making now are minor, and would be typical of a rookie of the buisness to make.

^ Well, you may think his mistakes are minor, but I bet Tazz hates calling the action with him because he's got to be there to correct him all the time.
Plus, I would've hated to be Adamle and see the look on Vince's face after he walked back through the curtain after forgetting that Matt Hardy had just been drafted.
I mean, the Draft is a pretty big deal. It stretched out over 3 hours on Raw and the supplemental Draft just ended a day or so ago. So, I don't think you are supposed to forget about who is getting drafted within 10 minutes...
Plus, I don't think it helped him much with Raw being live, where-as ECW is taped and they can do their best to try and edit out all of his mistakes..

he is bad but give the guy a chance Christ, he's had more than a chance. His constant errors are cringeworthy and that's the end of it.

I think now they are acknowledging his errors... he will do alot better. I quite like him. Tazz is accomplished enough to carry him when needed. 'The Samoan Bulldog...' 'It's bulldozer...bulldozer' Awesome.

I think he should be an interviewer only, he makes way to many mess ups to be an announcer.

I like when he makes mistakes, it gives me a laugh, he should stay for entertainment reasons.

I like when he makes mistakes, it gives me a laugh, he should stay for entertainment reasons. Same. But he should also learn about the product he's representing. He's got a job so many of us would kill to have.

Last timeI checked the companys name is World Wrestling Entertainment. As far as im concerned, Adamle delivers on this and I do not see a reason to wish he was fired.
