....well, almost. I just received the August 2008 issue of WWE Magazine in the mail today and the cover almost threw me off guard, before I realized it was just an advertisement. Here is the actual cover of the newest WWE Magazine: And, to keep this topic relevant, how might you advertise Jakks figures in mediums such as magazines, commercials, etc? Or, if you want, pick five of your favorite upcoming figures and choose which you would have used for the advertisement posted above.

Well I think if they were to advertise figures it was always gonna be them 5 really with them being 5 of the (im not saying the 5 biggest) drawers, I'd say probably only the undertaker is bigger than them at the moment interms of attracting kids to buy figs... and since 'taker is supposedly banished I think it was logic to use the new world heavyweight champ...

Here are a few other wrestling figure references in this months issue: Table of contents: Out of 100%, what the Magazine staff spend their time doing: Zach Ryder's Hasbro Mailaway Hogan figure (not LJN, by the way ): Victoria tells a story of Chavo riding a sawhorse and the "present" he received on his birthday:

Funny how Punk was in that ad when at the time they made it (which I'm assuming was at least a few weeks ago), he wasn't in the main event picture.

I have all of those figures except the Cena on the back cover, MVP, Finlay, Sgt. Slaughter, and the mail away Hogan, and did anyone else notice that the Finlay is the DA 15 one if I'm not mistaken, if not that then it is the earlier DA one or the DA 3-pack one.
