I thought for something different to talk about other than transfers, Pre-Season Friendlies ! Talk about any team you like in here, local or supported. Northampton have been away thus far and have had two nil-nillers. Full fixtures & the two results so far: Thu Jul 10 Brackley Town (A) 0-0 Mon Jul 14 Vihren Sandanski 0-0 Thu Jul 17 FC Kleve (Volksbank Arena) 7.00pm CET (A) 1-3 Wed Jul 23 QPR (H) 7.45pm 0-1 Sat Jul 26 Luton Town (A) 3pm Tue Jul 29 WBA (H) 7.45pm I'm gonna try and get to either the OPR game or the WBA game if I'm not too busy, will follow Da Cobblers alot closer this year, look to have a fair team but it's a tough league, League One.

Yer... it was a great goal by him and Liverpool's performance was dominant.. Tranmere didn't really get any shots on goal but I was suprised by how little creativity Liverpool shown in Tranmeres half

Sunderland beat Sporting Lisbon 3-1 tonight. Goals from O'Donovan, Nosworthy & Stokes.
2 goals in the last 10 minutes with just 10 men (Chopra got sent off & Roy Keane got sent to the stands in protest for the Red card to Chopra).

Was meant to go to Havant & Waterlooville tonight to see them play Brighton. Bottled it at the last minute though, Albion ended up winning 4-2, again. Saved a good £25 odd though.
Gareth Barry played 14 minutes and was boo'd big time apparently.

Dan... Gareth Barry played 14 minutes for who? your post doesn't make much sense Last night Villa played Walsall and Barry was booed every time he touched the ball. I think he played 45 minutes though.

Sunderland drew 1-1 with Vitoria Setubal. Boring game, with our goal coming from Kieran Richardson (even that took 2 deflections).

MLS All Stars are still unbeaten against British sides after beating West Ham 3-2. They have previously beaten Fulham, Celtic & Chelsea.
I know it's only highlights there but still, at least one goal for Ashton, he looks alot fitter too. The MLS players looked alot sharper as their season has been underway for some time now.
