The opening video plays before "Rise Up!" blasts over the arena's speakers and pyros begin the show. Tazz and Michael Cole introduce the fans to the program and say that theres a helluva show planned tonight. They run over the matches announced so far: Six-Man Cruiserweight Tag Team Match, Chris Jericho vs. Ric Flair hardcore match, Hawkins/Ryder/Punk vs. Hardyz/RVD, Kane/Guerrero vs. Batista/Big Show, Christian vs. Edge and much more!

Six-Man Tag Team Match: Cruiserweight Spectacular:
Ultimo Dragon, Super Crazy and Juventud Guerrera vs. Jamie Noble, Kid Kash and Gregory Helms
Ultimo and Noble start this off with a nice exchange of reversals. Dragon puts him in an armbar and tags in Juvi who continues working on the former champion's arm. Noble somersaults and clotheslines The Juice, tagging in Kash. Kash begins an immediate assault on Juvi, beating him with kicks and shots to the mid-section. He continues to work on the arm, while pinning him (while also holding his arm in an awkward position). He gets a two-count. He tags in Helms, who continues the assault. Helms beats him down while taunting him.
He slowly fights back, eventually flipping Helms and tagging in Super Crazy who unleashes an assault of various high-flying moves. He head-scissors Helms, knocking him out of the ring, before taking down Kash with a dropkick. He tags in Ultimo Dragon, then launches over the ropes onto Helms. With the referee distracted, Ultimo climbs to the top rope. Noble attacks him, but Dragon kicks him off. He turns and Kash nails him with the Cruiserweight Championship before hitting the Dead Level and pinning him for a three-count.
Winners: Jamie Noble, Kid Kash and Gregory Helms

Kash celebrates. He raises the championship in the air. Jamie Noble takes it from him and tells him that he wont get the championship, because Noble wants his belt back. Kash attacks him, but Helms pulls him off. Noble rolls out as Kash settles down. He shakes hands with Helms. Helms suddenly blindsides him and kicks him before hitting a shining wizard. He raises the championship momentarily until the faces hit the ring and throw him out.
Teddy Long comes out. He says that they will settle this, but it won't be now. He announces a six-man survival match at Great American Bash. He announces that two men will start in the ring, when somebody is pinned, the next competitor will enter. This will happen until there is one man left standing, who will be Cruiserweight Champion!
Backstage:
The Big Show is shown. He says that tonight, he will destroy Chavo Guerrero. He says that he is sick of bullies ganging up, and it wont matter anymore. He welcomes Chavo or any other members of the Alliance to try him, because he will take them out by himself. Batista walks up. They shake hands. Batista says that wont be needed, because tonight he has "The Animal's" backing him up!
In The Ring:
The ring announcer says that the following match will determine one of the three man who will face Tommy Dreamer at SummerSlam for the United States Championship. He says that Montel Vontavious Porter was removed from the match and will now be joining the Tag Team Championship Match with his brother, Victor Imperial Porter. Tommy Dreamer comes to ringside to do commentary in the match.

Number One Contender: United States Championship:
Carlito vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Chuck Palumbo vs. Evan Bourne
A nice match. Early on, Palumbo nails Bourne with a powerbomb and pins him, but Carlito breaks it up. Carlito mouths off. Mysterio stops his taunts with an arm drag, followed by two more. He hits a tilt-a-whirl headscissors, but this time Palumbo breaks it up. Palumbo and Carlito beat down on Mysterio. Bourne comes to his aide, superkicking Carlito out of the ring. Chuck hits him with a massive, stiff clothesline and then a big boot. He screams before turning around. Mysterio launches off the ropes and lands on him, knocking him on his back. 1. 2. 3. Mysterio wins the match!
Winner: Rey Mysterio

Mysterio celebrates. Dreamer rolls into the ring and shakes his hand. They talk momuntarily before Dreamer raises Rey's hand in victory. He claps for him. Mysterio thanks him, before smiling and taunting a belt around his waist. Dreamer smiles back as Rey rolls out of the ring. Dreamer raises his belt before leaving too.
Backstage:
Edge is shown backstage. Behind him stands Chavo Guerrero and the Tag Team Champions, The Rated-R Entourage. Edge begins to talk.
"Lately we've been overlooked. People like Christian, people like Chris Jericho, People like The Big Show, Batista, Rob Van Dam and many, many others have been taking the spotlight. OUR spotlight. It's going to change. This night is ours. Tonight, the Tag Team Champions will team up with CM Punk and destroy The Hardy Boyz and Rob Van Dam. Tonight, Chavo Guerrero will team with the Big Red Machine, Kane and destroy Big Show and Batista. Tonight, I regain my World Heavyweight Championship! Tonight is our night. Tonight is the night of the Alliance."
In The Ring:
The Highlight Reel is set up as Chris Jericho is in the ring. He welcomes the fan's to the show. He says that tonight he will beat the living hell out of Ric Flair then at SummerSlam he will beat Randy Orton and four other men and win the World Heavyweight Championship. He introduces his guest, a man who is in the Elimination Chamber, Batista.
*I WALK ALONE!*
Batista enters the ring to a huge amount of cheers. He thanks Jericho. Y2J asks him about Kane and says that he HAS to be afraid of Kane is some way. Batista says that Kane is a big, bad man. He says that Kane has shown he is extremely powerful. Merciless. Insane. He says that knowing all this...He still isn't afraid. He says that it takes more than a towel to make him scared.
Suddenly, Father James Mitchell comes out. He tells Batista that tonight is the beginning of the end and redirects their attention to the screen. It show's The Big Show, unconsious backstage. Batista looks shocked. Mitchell says that Batista said he isnt scared, which is good, because tonight he will take on Kane and Chavo Guerrero in a handicap match!

King Of The Ring: Quarter-finals Match:
Ken Doane w/ World's Greatest Tag Team vs. Rhino
Doane's lackies jump off the apron as the match begins. He locks up with the Manbeast and is totally outmatched in terms of strength. Rhino pushes him into the corner and lets go at the referee's command. Doane pokes him and takes him down and pins him for a very short count. Doane works on Rhino's back, but The Human War Machine fights back, hitting a belly-to-belly for a two count. He beats on Doane, whipping him into the ropes and hitting a spinebuster for another two count. Rhino works on Doane for the next minute of so, until Haas trips him. The referee argues with Haas. Doane tries to Gore the Manbeast himself. Rhino moves and Doane knocks Haas off the apron. Rhino nails a gore and pins him for a three-count.
Winner: Rhino

Rhino celebrates. Shelton rolls into the ring and hits him. He runs the ropes, but Rhino takes him down with a clothesline. He readies in the corner as the fans loudly chant "GORE! GORE! GORE!". They get what they want. Rhino gores him so hard he flies through the ropes to the floor below. Rhino poses before leaving.
Backstage:
The Embassy is shown backstage. William Regal says that they will be the best group ever known. He says he will win the King of the Ring and Val Venis will win the United States Championship after he qualifies next week as well as Regal, Burchill and Smith taking out an "All-American Team" specially picked for them. He says all this will happen at SummerSlam, the night the Embassy reigns supreme.
In The Ring:
The ring announcer says that the following match is an Over-The-Top-Rope-Challenge and that the winner will be decided when one whole team has been eliminated. He says eliminations can occure through pinfall, submission, disqualification, countout and getting thrown over the tope rope with any part of your body hitting the floor below!

Over-The-Top-Rope Challenge: Six-Man Tag Team Match:
Rob Van Dam and The Hardy Boyz vs. CM Punk and The Rated-R Entourage
All six men circle the ring. RVD and Punk start it off, laying into other with punches. The Hardyz and The Entourage attack each other too. After about a minute, Punk is beating down on Van Dam after a cheap shot. He tries to throw him over the rope, but RVD pushes him away and hits a heel kick. Meanwhile, Matt hits a double side-effect and Jeff climbs to the top rope. He taunts for a swanton, but Punk hits him, knocking him out of the ring. (Jeff Hardy is eliminated). Matt looks dissapointed as Hawkins and Ryder attack him from behind. They start to beat him down, but RVD comes to his aid. Punk joins in and the three-on-two advantage comes to play and RVD and Hardy are beat down. Hawkins holds Hardy and Ryder runs the ropes.
He goes for a clothesline, but Hardy ducks. Ryder accidently hits Hawkins, knocking him over the ropes and out of the ring. (Curt Hawkins is eliminated). Ryder checks on him, but Hardy quickly throws him out when hes distracted. (Zack Ryder is eliminated). Hardy celebrates, but Punk quickly pushes him from behind sending him over the ropes. (Matt Hardy eliminated). RVD and Punk are left in the ring. RVD poses before turning around. Punk tries for a flying knee, RVD moves and hits a clothesline. Punk flies backwards and falls to the floor near the turnbuckle. RVD lifts him up and is suddenly hit with a pair of brass knuckles. Punk kicks him and hits a pepsi plunge, pinning him for the victory.
Winners: CM Punk, Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder

Punk is shown celebrating. Teddy Long comes out and says that he isn't going to put up with Punk's shenanigans. He says that they will settle this at SummerSlam, when they face each other for the first time one-on-one. Punk smiles briefly before leaving the ring as RVD recovers.
Promo:
A promo shows about Christian. It shows him hitting numerous people with the Unprettier, his frog splash from The Great American Bash, numerous victories and ends with him holding the championship in the air.
Backstage:
Teddy Long gets back to his office after making an announcement and walks in to find Edge sitting on the chair. He asks Edge why he's there. Edge tells Teddy that SummerSlam looks like a great Pay Per View and that it will be even better when Edge wins back the World Championship in the Elimination Chamber. He says he has a question concerning his match with Christian tonight. Long interrupts and says that the match is happening and nothing he says will stop it.
Edge says that he would love the chance to get revenge and WANTS the match. He says that the match needs a bit of flare. Something to spice it up. Teddy Long asks what he had in mind. Edge says that he proposes tonight that he faces Christian for the World Heavyweight Championship in... a best of three falls match! Teddy Long says its a great idea and it will happen tonight, but it The Alliance or anyone else interfere, Edge will be taken out of the Elimination Chamber.
In The Ring:
The announcer says that the following match will be contested under the rules of a Hardcore Match... which means theres no rules! He says that the only guideline in this following match is that if Randy Orton touches Chris Jericho in any way, he will be taken out of the Elimination Chamber. Flair enters the arena and then Jericho. Jericho gets a microphone. He tells Flair that he grew up idolizing him and asks that in this match, they keep their cool and show the fans what they have. Flair agrees to this match. They shake hands.

Hardcore Grudge Match:
Chris Jericho vs. Ric Flair
The men lock up in the ring. Flair quickly flips Jericho over with a suplex-type move and puts him in a modified armbar. Jericho rolls over and puts Flair in a wristlock. Flair gets to his feet. He spins around, reversing the pressure onto Jericho. Jericho somersaults before ducking a clothesline. He runs the ropes. Flair hits a chop, taking him down. He pins Jericho for a short two-count. He puts Y2J in a headlock, but Jericho quickly fights back with some elbow shots. He flips Flair over and dropkicks him and gets a two-count of his own. With Flair lying down, Jericho runs the ropes, springing off and going for the lionsault. Flair raises his foot, taking Jericho down. He stands up and lifts his legs, before screaming "WOOO!" and going for the Figure-Four. Jericho kicks him away.
Flair grabs him and throws him into the corner, hitting some chops. Jericho grabs Flair and throws him into it, hitting some of his own. They lock up again and mat-wrestle momentarily until they let go. Jericho extends his hand. Flair nods and grabs it, shaking it. All of a sudden, Flair drops and hits him with a low-blow. The fans are in shock before booing Flair. He laughs. He gets a steel chair from outside of the ring. He brings it into the ring and taunts the crowd before repeatedly hitting Jericho across the head with it. Jericho is lying, a bloody mess. Flair puts him in the Figure Four, adding insult to injury. Jericho promptly taps out.
Winner: Ric Flair

Flair celebrates as Randy Orton makes his way to the ring. Orton raises his arm in the air and gets Flair a microphone when he requests one.
"You people REALLY think I care about Chris Jericho!? You people think I care about you!? You people think I'd do exactly what I am against? I refuse to lower my career for the pleasure of no-good losers like you all! *crowd boos*. Tonight I just proved what we are willing to do to get to the top. At SummerSlam, Chris Jericho and four other men will fall before The Legend Killer, the third-generation superstar, the youngest World Champion in WWE History, Randy Orton!"
Teddy Long comes out and informs the men that next week Randy Orton will be in action. His opponent? Chris Jericho! He tells them that the match will also be a Hardcore Match and Ric Flair is banned from ringside! Flair and Orton look shocked and scream at Long from the ring over the decision. He says "Holla!" before leaving. BANG! Jericho smacks Ric Flair with the steel chair. Orton turns around and Jericho chases him, but he escapes the ring. He looks on as Jericho drops the chair before nailing Flair with The Codebreaker.

Tag Team Exhibition Match:
Batista and The Big Show vs. Chavo Guerrero and Kane w/ Father James Mitchell
Batista is alone in the ring, with Big Show still unable to fight from the attack earlier. Chavo Guerrero starts it off against "The Animal". Batista tries to catch him and Guerrero cowers, tagging in Kane. Batista tackles Kane and they brawl visciously. Kane gets the better of him, but Batista fights back. Kane tries for a clothesline, but Batista ducks and hits a spear. He lays into the Big Red Machine with punches. Chavo tries to interfere, but Batista nails him with a spinebuster. Batista looks furious. He roars and shakes the ropes before turning around, only to be hit with a Big Boot from Kane.
Kane chokes him on the ropes, letting go at the last second. He starts to kick Batista before lifting him up and hitting a sideslam for a two-count. He throws The Animal into his corner and tags in Chavo. Chavo lays into him with punches and the referee pulls him away. Kane chokes him when the refs not looking. Chavo hits a nice dropkick and pins him for another two-count. He tags in Kane, who goes into a rage. He goes for a big boot but Batista ducks and unfortunately the boot collides with someone. The referee. Batista nails a spear and once again shakes the ropes. He turns and is hit by Chavo Guerrero. Batista looks furious, as if the punch didnt hurt him.
He chases Chavo, but Kane hits an uppercut. They both beat down on The Animal. *WELL.... ITS THE BIG SHOW!*. Big Show runs to the ring and enters it. He takes Chavo down and goes punch-for-punch with Kane. Chavo attacks him from behind and Kane starts to get the upper hand. Batista clotheslines Kane, knocking him out of the ring. Chavo looks shocked. Big Show nails him with a chokeslam. Batista hits the Batista Bomb and pins him for the victory.
Winners: Batista and The Big Show

The two men are celebrating in the ring. Kane enters the ring and attacks the two men. He takes Big Show down with a boot to the face. Batista tries to fight back, but Father James Mitchell hits him with a low-blow. Kane nails him with a chokeslam. Big Show gets to his feet and suffers the same fate. Kane stands over them in the ring and does his pyro pose before leaving with Mitchell.

World Heavyweight Championship: Best Of 3 Falls:
Christian (c) vs. Edge
Both of the men stare down in the ring as the fans go wild. Christian nods as if he's ready for a fight. Edge taunts him and mouths off. They get closer. Edge raises his arms in the air and the fans boo crazily. Christian laughs and raises his in the air to a massive amount of cheers. Edge pushes Christian. Christian smiles, before pushing him back. They lock up, officially starting the match. Edge overpowers his brother, pushing him backwards. Christian spins around and starts pushing Edge. They let go and circle the ring. They go to lock up again, but Edge hits a cheap shot.
He takes Christian down with a drop toe hold and begins to lay into him with some blows to the back of the head. He taunts the crowd before running the ropes. Christian ducks under, then leapfrogs on the second time. He hits a nice dropkick. Edge gets up and tries for a clothesline. Christian ducks it and hits a reverse DDT. He climbs to the top rope, but Edge thwarts him with a few blows. Edge climbs up after him and tries for a superplex. Christian fights back and pushes him off, before leaping off and nailing a frog splash and pinning the former champion for a three count.

Christian puts Edge in a headlock. Edge fights back, escaping after a quick poke in the eye. He recovers momentarily before taking the Champ down with a hiptoss and then hits a dropkick. He pins Christian for a two count. Edge climbs to the top rope. He taunts the crowd. Christian punches him and climbs up after him. He throws Edge off, into the ring. He climbs to the top rope and waits for Edge to stand up. When hes nearly at his feet, Christian leaps off. In mid-air, Edge nails a picture-perfect spear. He does a "I'm smarter than you" type of pose before pinning Christian for a three-count as fans chant "Edge sucks!".
(Winner of the second fall, Edge).
Edge recovers as Christian struggles to get to his feet. He kicks Christian and tries for the Edgecution. Christian pushes him away and hits heel kick. He lifts Edge up and pumps the crowd up. He goes for the Unprettier. Edge pushes him against the ropes and when he bounces off them, tries for a spear. Christian leapfrogs it and hits Edge with a spear of his own. He laughs and lifts up Edge. He hits him with the Unprettier and pins him. 1. 2. 3.
Winner: Christian

Christian struggles to stand up after a half-hour classic match. The announcers play up how great the match was. The referee hands Christian the belt and raises his arm in victory. The announcers say he sure is a fighting champion and remind the fans to tune in to nexts week's special, The Road To SummerSlam, which features several MASSIVE matches and a one-night return of the Great One himself, The Rock!
