Where was this series found? I could only find it at Hills. Did any other store(s) carry this series?

Hills was great. I live in Illinois and that's the only place I ever found them. I remember the old Action Figure News and Toy Review magazine reported that they were showing up at Hills, and select other locations, but I never found those other locations. I know all of the major retailers passed on the line.

Well i heard there were also at a department store called Ames. I live in central jersey and we never had an Ames until about 2000-2001. I remember that because i bought Tool's "Lateralus" there when the store was fairly new.(Ames took the place of Caldor) Also...there was a semi local, possibly tri-state area toy store called, Meyer's. This was truly figure heaven for me! I got my most favorite figures there, the red card Bret and Yoko. It was weird too, my friend was the first to get that yoko, and while he was there he said he saw a 1-2-3 kid! And i couldn't believe him! I remember i was sick as a dog one night...and my dad bought me home 3 red carded figures. Bret, Taker, and yoko. I got to keep two, and had to give one to my brother. I took the bret and the yoko. Its kinda weird that the red cards got to meyers around the same time as the green cards, but it was a smaller type toy store. Also, Shoppers World also had hasbros, was able to get most of the yellow card figures there (razor, hbk, nailz, crush) I stopped collecting shortly after that, so i never got to pursue the green card series, either that or i never got the chance to snag'em. Anyways...did anyone have a Meyer's and remember getting figures there? ?? peace billy

I've found the green carded series at a local Toys R Us in a small place in the Netherlands. They were going very cheap, even as little as between 5 and 10 Dutch guilders (pre Euro), which is roughly something like 4 USD.
They sold Lidvig Borga, 123 Kid, both of the Gunns and Adam Bomb.
Back then, I wasnt thinking of the possible collector's value so I didnt buy them.

Ames was great for hasbro's from the series with flair up to the blue carded series. never once did i spot a green carded figure in there. After Ames bought Hills, it seemed to me they got better esp with the exclusives (DX box set for ex.)
