So finally it happened what I always hoped it would not - Jakks ruined the CS 20 Ric Flair in the great yellow/green attire with completely dumb part choices. I definitely want to own a Flair in yellow/green so now I wonder what would be the best way to fix it. 1. Arms - switching arms or a torso-split to give him the cruiser arms should be no problem. 2. Lower legs - there's my first problem. What figure is out there with matching yellow boots? Only figure that comes to mind is Cody Rhodes (although these would of course lack Flair's initials on them). Any other ideas? 3. Green kneepads - wow, that could be hard. I definitely would like dark green old-style pads. Anyone knows a figure that came with these? The only figure I know is Mark Jindrak and his pads were more of a lighter green. So what would be your suggestions on fixing that Figure? Any idea would be much appreciated!

Cody Rhodes comes with Green knee-pads. Yeah he does, but as I said I would prefer old-style pads to match my other Flairs.

Well, I personally think the Cody Rhodes figure's boots would be wrong also, because they are the tall boots. There was a FM Billy Gunn that had green pads buth you'd have to paint them darker...Or just get a pair of white pands and paint the fronts green.

You're absolutely right with the boots, somehow I oversaw that, thanks! So it seems as if some painting would be the best way to fix up Flair although I am not very experienced in it. Maybe I will just let the green/yellow go an switch to black boots instead. Such a shame with this classic outfit

Actually in regards to switching out the arms you don't even need to crack the torso. You can take off the current arms with a pair of pliers right under neath the shoulder.
I've done it many times and it's a lot easier than cracking and possibly ruining a torso.

The CS11 Rick Steiner has mid-length yellow boots with white laces, however the soles are black. Still better than the Cody Rhodes boots probably,

The only problem with that in this case is the Flair uses the scrawny arms like 123 Kid so the shoulder doesn't have any muscluar rips to it and would look odd on a ripped RA arm.

You know I never noticed that until now, the shoulders are different may not look right, good call man.

Of course the shoulder joint of the scrawny arms looks a little different than the more muscular ones but do you really think it will be much of a difference? Maybe it is worth trying. I've never seen that particular arm switch.

How about, to save time and energy, you just buy the CS 20, accept it and it's flaws the way it is, and stop whining like a little b*tch? There are bigger things in life to worry about. Only kiddin' dude. But not really, lol.

Just put CW arms on it and slap some black boots from RA20 Flair....It look great honestly Yeah, I saw your fix-up and I must admit that it looks great indeed! I nearly have the same Flair-Collection as you have plus a few with other molds and scans. Is the skin-tone of the RA 31 or 34,5 matching? Because it would be a little easier for me to get me one of those two. On the other side you wouldn't see much of the skin-tone anyway when the pads are pulled down. @ Rabid Heat: No offense man but you realize we are on an action-figure-forum, do you? People do crazy things in their spare time...some play video games, some tune their cars and some collect figures. So this is all about spare time and the fun and problems you have with your hobbies. It has nothing to do with the really important things in life. So you can bet your a** that I'm not "whining" or "bitching" about figures when I'm at university, with my girlfriend or talking to my old an ill grandparents. So all in all I don't see your point of argumentation really

The only reason why I say RA20 is because the black boots have a white RF on them whereas the RA31 has a red one...Im just anal about small things

I know that the "RF" on the RA 20 is white and on the RA 31 is red but it would still be better than those yellow boxing boots. Not sure about the RA 34,5 though. I guess it's red too. Maybe I'm lucky and find a RA 20 Flair. I'll see. Thanks again!
