Are classic deluxe superstars going to be released the same way as classic build and brawls from now on, ie one per series of the regular deluxe aggressions? I ask because that Tazz that just came out in DA is not exactly current. It's from 2000 at best.

I don't think so. That Tazz was just random. No need to read anything into it.
Knowing Jakks lack of knowledge, they probably assume Tazz still wears that singlet when he wrestles, lol. Based on their output in the last year, I don't think any of the staff there watch the WWE product all that regularly anymore.

Idk take it for what's its worth.

I'm sure it's just a way for jakks to get more of the choices they wanted out.

I thought I read somewhere that because the CSDA's come out slower, and that they wanted to get more out, they were putting them in regular DA sets.

No, the CSDA line is still scheduled for another series by this October/November (#5) and likely two more next year before the license ends.
In my opinion, it is Jakks' way of rewarding collectors by not using a valuable CSDA spot on guys that can still blend in well with the regular DA line. There isn't any classic attires scheduled for DA16, so I don't think it will be a permanent concept.

Isn't it because the UK doesn't get the CSDA line so they throw a CDA Figure in the DA line-up?

Isn't it because the UK doesn't get the CSDA line so they throw a CDA Figure in the DA line-up? I don't understand what the point of that would be. If they aren't making classic deluxe figures available to the UK in general, they don't have much interest in Brits collecting them, so why bother throwing us one every few months?

I'm pretty sure Jakks/Jeremy said a while ago that 1 CSDA figure would be incorporated in to each regular DA series... and it makes sense with Austin and Tazz, but that was only series 13 and 15 respectively, so maybe it's every other series?
Either way I think it's a good idea. Despite the many people who love DA here on WF, the fact is the line doesn't sell anywhere near as good as RA (which I still think is mainly due to DA being bigger than RAs) and while I don't like DAs because of their size, I do like the fact that a CSDA figure is almost guarenteed to get a new headscan, so I occassionally buy them to do RA headswitches.
So as long as Jakks keep giving the CSDAs new headscans, I'm all for it.
