Just saw it today & was wondering what the overall reaction to it was. Personally I loved it as it lived up to its billing being loaded with actual, now get this...clones. Lots of action & more of everyone's favorite troops doing what they do best, fight. Captain Rex was everything I'd hoped for especially since we see these cool characters who generally get 3 seconds of screen time. any other thoughts? feel free to post. thanks.

I saw it and was quite disappointed, they really didn't capture the heart and mystery that makes "Star Wars" so great. It was just an action packed cartoon...I turn to the Ninja Turtles for that...seriously they're Ninja fighting Turtles! ROCK ON!

ROCK ON! idk...i have to disagree ninja turtles aside i think it provided at least what i was looking for which was plenty of action involving the clones & in much more detail than the films. AOTC was pretty lame in that respect providing one battle at the end & jango was but a footnote. ROTS was better but still not as in depth with the clones.

If you go in expecting a kids cartoon you won't be dissapointed. If you go in expecting a real Star Wars movie, you'll be angry as hell. I was kinda in the middle And I don't think this is the last time we'll see an animated Clone Wars film with Snips and Skyguy

Does anyone have a definite answer for me as to how this relates to the microseries? It doesn't. It's the first 3 episodes of the new TV series. They decided to premiere it in theatres instead of just on TV to make it a bigger deal.

It was pretty bad, probably because I'm a Star Wars fan I expected more. And god, that Padawan was annoying. She had to be trained, yet she pretty much knew how to do everything.

also is this going to be a tv series? i thought the tv series was going to be live action? The Clone Wars cartoon is TV series. What you saw in the theaters is the first four episodes cropped together. There will also be a live action TV show down the line as well.
