The show starts after many pyros go off and "Rise Up!" by Drowning Pool blasts over the loud speakers. As it dies off, the roaring crowd jumps as the show starts with the announcers.
Cole: Hello, Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to WWE The Road To SummerSlam, a Smackdown! special. Tonight we are live in Orlando, Florida for the action-packed special show!
Tazz: Yes, Cole, your right. We have a fantastic line-up for tonight and personally, I CANT WAIT!
Cole: As everybody already knows, over the last week, fans voted as to which match Kane and Batista will take their hatred out on each other in, with a Last Man Standing match being chosen, so tonight they WILL collide one-on-one in that match type!
Tazz: Yes, that match should be a very unforgiving, brutal encounter. Last week, it was announced that tonights main event would put Christian (our current World Champion), Rob Van Dam and The Big Show against Edge, Chavo Guerrero and CM Punk!
Cole: Your very right, but you forgot one key thing... The Rock will be here to officiate that match in his WWE return! In other action, Chris Jericho and Randy Orton will collide in a Hardcore Match. All this and MUCH, MUCH more on The Road To SummerSlam!
The fans go wild as the Cruiserweight Championship match starts off the show as all the lumberjacks make their way to the ring.
