Here is my fantasy team. I drafted eighth out of twelve in a snake draft.
QB: Peyton Manning, Jeff Garcia RB: Willie Parker, Michael Turner, Kevin Smith WR: Plaxico Burress, Jerricho Cotchery, Reggie Williams, Ted Ginn, Vincent Jackson TE: Jeremy Shockey, Zach Miller K: Rob Bironas DST: Ravens
I feel weak at WR but am happy with QB and RB.
Thoughts?

It is PLAXico Burress. No "e" in his first name, gawd damn it. I must say, I'm not a fan of your team at all. I assume you went Peyton Manning in the 1st round, which I disagree with; but then I'm completely lost on what you did in the 2nd round. Plaxico Burress? Willie Parker? Either way, at that point in the draft, you took them way too early.

Anyway, I did take Peyton in the first round and Willie in the second round. I went with Manning in the first round because, in my opinion, every solid first running back was taken. LT, AP, Westbrook, Lynch, Barber, Addai and Brady all went right before me. I have had Johnson and Gore previous years and don't trust either one of them. Peyton is a reliable option. Hindsight has me wishing I went with Romo, but, I like Peyton to have a solid year (as usual). Come round two, I went with Parker for two reasons. First, after my pick, Portis, Gore, LJ and Jackson all went. The beginning of round two saw Romo, Brees and Moss and Owens go off of the board. I was hoping to get either Moss or Owens but went with Parker as I didn't like my chances at getting a running back with the 32nd overall pick.

I have Willie Parker ranked as my No. 60 overall player. 26th at RB.
I just don't get why you took him so early... There are SO many players who are more productive fantasy-wise.
I realize you're a Steelers fan, but wow...

I realize you're a Steelers fan, but wow... I'M NOT A HOMER...lol. I had him ranked in my top twenty at RB. I realize it was a risky pick. I was going to hopefully get him in the third of fourth but went balls out on him in the second. Based on what we've heard in the news 'round these parts, he's going to get more goal line carries so I expect him to have anywhere between 7 and 9 TDs. He'll also have over 1,000 yards. I know Mendenhall is an argument for taking Parker so early but I don't think he's going to be as productive as everyone thinks. I hope he is simply because two productive running backs equals NFL win, but, I don't see it happening. I know I'm weak at WR. Cotchery and Burress are obviously 1, 2 for me. Who do you think is a good number 3 choice? I'm leaning towards Ginn.

I agree, RB is your weakest spot because FWP and Turner are going to lose goal line carries and maybe real carried to their backups. I'd like Willie as a pick in the 4th round on, but not in the 2nd.

I feel okay at running back. Like I said, I know it was a risk with Parker in the second but didn't like my chances at RB if I let him slip. I was in a league with a bunch of homers (Ward and Holmes both went in the fourth, Ben in the second) so I knew I wouldn't see Parker again. I did get Turner in the fifth round which I thought was a nice pick up. The only thing that concerns me about Turner is durability. This being his first real season. But somebody on that team in Atlanta has to get yards and it's likely going to be him. He'll get 75-80 percent of the snaps ahead of Norwood.

Homers should be banned by Fantasy Football...... unless Im beating them. ;D
