You have been warned.... I just saw on E News that Pam (Jenna Fischer) will be away from Jim & the Office because she will be living at art school in NYC & it has not been decided if she will return to Dunder Mifflin. ____________________________________________________ I knew this was coming, but it's crap. With the cast branching into movies, it was obvious some people would leave. My only complaint is that they build this damn storyline for 3 seasons & after 15 episodes it could be the end. Of course I see her coming back at some point, but I love Pam & think she's hot

Damn! I knew something like this would happen. There was just no way Pam and Jim would end up happily ever after.

She isn't leaving the show. It was obvious with the way season four went that she was going to be pursuing her interest in art. I was surprised that it didn't play a big part in the season finale.

I thought it was already quite obvious that she'd be doing that.

SPOILER: Michael will say "that's what she said." WHY WOULD YOU SPOIL THAT FOR ME!? In all seriousness, I just got season 4 on DVD and I am really glad that they didnt have Jim propose to her at the end of the season. They need to let her get out of there for at least a little bit.

Siwwy Amewicans, The Office ended 3 years ago. As brilliant as the UK Office is, the US one is just as good if not a little better since it's not so short-lived. Michael Scott is on par with David Brent. ------------------------ Jenna Fischer usually only gets tiny supporting roles in movies, she won't be going anywhere.

She'll be back. This seems like one of those 6 or 8-episode story arcs designed to cast a bit of doubt on a storyline (Jim/Pam) that is a little too predictable at times.
Just like when they sent Jim to Stanford for about 1/3 of a season... he was always coming back, but his departure from Scranton gave them some new stories to tell (for better or worse) while prolonging the inevitable.

You're just jealous the American version is more popular than the English version was. Even though that sort of thing happened all the time in the 70s. Nuh - Uh, people in the UK don't watch the US one but people in the US watched the UK one.

Nuh - Uh, people in the UK don't watch the US one but people in the US watched the UK one. But that only means the UK version is more popular in the UK. The US version is more popular in the US & Canada. Which is probably how it was meant to be.
