Dark Match:
Vampyres (Mordecai/Gangrel) def. Steven Richards/Nunzio in 4:53.
They cut a promo saying that a dark age is upon us.
Fireworks blast through the arena as the commentators welcome everybody to the show. Fans go wild as the theme music streams through the loudspeakers and spotlights light the crowd.
"S.O.S...."
Kofi Kingston enters the arena to a pretty warm response. He slaps hands with people in the crowd as the referee announces that the following is a King Of The Ring semi-finals match. He rolls into the ring.
"KENNNEDDDYYY!"
Ken Kennedy enters through the curtains and walks onto the ramp. He pauses and looks around as fans boo him. The lights dull as he raises his arm and a microphone drops down from the ceiling into Kennedy's arms. The crowd's boos get louder and chants of "You suck!" break out.
"I don't care what you idiots think. It's obvious you don't know talent when you see it. Tonight, I am here in a King of the Ring match against some run-down, bob-sledding loser. Tonight I will be victorious and I will go on... I WILL GO ON and I WILL win the King of the Ring tournament. No matter what any of you think, no matter what Kofi Kingston thinks, I am...MISTERRR KENNEDDDYYY ......Kennedy. Your next King of the Ring!"

King of the Ring: Semi-Finals Match:
Kofi Kingston vs. Ken Kennedy
They lock up in the ring, with Kennedy slightly overpowering Kingston and pushing him back into the corner. The referee orders him to let go and he does, before disrespectively slapping Kofi. Kingston laughs as the crowd boos Kennedy, before slapping him back. Kennedy takes a shot, but Kofi ducks and hits several of his own. He irish whips Kennedy into the ropes, ducks a clothesline attempt and hits a dropkick before pinning him for a two-count.
He puts Kennedy in an armbar and works on it for about 20 seconds before Kennedy begins making his way to his feet, while hitting Kofi with some hard elbow shots. He spins around and hits a back suplex on the Jamaican superstar. He pins him for a two-count. After a few minutes, they are brawling. Kofi dodges a big boot attempt and superkicks Kennedy, knocking him into the corner. Kofi pumps up the crowd before running at Kennedy. He leaps at the seemingly dazed superstar, but he moves. Kingston lands on the second turnbuckle. He leaps off for a flying body press, but Kennedy catches him and hits the Mic Check and pins him for a three-count.
Winner: Ken Kennedy in 7:43.

Kennedy stands up, raising his arms. Victorious. The referee raises one arm as he struts around the ring, ecstatic. He smirks at the crowd before rolling out of the ring.
Backstage:
Tommy Dreamer is shown talking to some of his friends. The United States Championship is over his waist. Suddenly, he is attacked by JBL who knocks him down and kicks him several times. He tells him to watch out, because hes on watch from now onwards because JBL wants his Championship!
Backstage:
Teddy Long is shown backstage. He says there has been a change of main events here on Velocity. He says that he has a special match, rather than a 10-man battle royal. He says that tonight, Tommy Dreamer will take on John "Bradshaw" Layfield in a No Holds Barred match for the United States Championship.
In The Ring:
The referee announces that the following is a Non-title triple threat match featuring three of Smackdown!'s cruiserweights. They are brought to the ring one-by-one.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Triple Threat:
Ultimo Dragon (c) vs. Gregory Helms vs. Juventud Guerrera
The three men all circle the ring as the bell rings. Dragon and Guerrera lock up and Helms jumps on them, attacking them with blows to the back. He hits Dragon with a back suplex. Guerrera and Helms lay into each other with punches and kicks. Helms hits a cheap shot and takes him down with a hiptoss and puts him in a headlock. Dragon hits a running baseball slide, hitting both men. It knocks Helms out of the ring. Dragon stands up as Helms recovers outside. Dragon launches over the ropes with a frontflip senton. He misses Helms, but lands on his feet. Helms throws him into the turnbuckle, knocking him down. The referee yells at him to get back into the ring.
He rolls in and Guerrera hits a leg drop. He lifts Helms up and irish whips him. Helms ducks a clothesline attempt, but is hit with a superkick on the rebound. Guerrera kicks him and nails the Juvi Driver. 1. 2. Dragon breaks it up. Juvi and Dragon exchange kicks. Dragon catches Juvi's foot and spins him around. He jumps onto Juvi and pushes off the mat in a wheelbarrow position and tries to hit a bulldog. Guerrera reverses it into a neckbreaker. Guerrera runs the ropes, but is tripped over by Jamie Noble on the outside. Super Crazy runs down and takes out Noble as they brawl through the crowd. Kash jumps onto the apron, but Guerrera dropkicks him off. He turns around and Ultimo Dragon rolls him up for a three-count.
Winner: Ultimo Dragon in 13:08

Guerrera is visibly pissed off as he hits the mat. Dragon extends his hand and helps Juvi up. They shake hands and Dragon mutters something before turning to leave. Juvi raises his arm in the air. They turn to face Kid Kash and Gregory Helms who are walking up the ramp. Guerrera walks off as Dragon stares at the big SummerSlam billboard.
Backstage:
CM Punk is shown backstage. He is alone in a room as he stands up. He turns to face the camera as he finishes taping up his wrists. He begins to talk in a deep, dark voice.
"I've struggled. I've struggled for years to find who I am. Struggled to find the real me. I went through stages being pissed off, I went through stages being annoyed at the world. I spent time caring what you idiots in the crowd think of me. I don't care anymore. All I care about is ME! CM Punk. I care about me and me only. I will NOT hinder my success here because some little 12-year-old jackass wants to sit their cheering me. I will not waste away so some internet nerd can sit their typing "Punk is awesome. He's hardcore! He's hardcore!". I don't give a crap. From now on I am focusing on showing everybody who I am, what I can do and why I do it!
Rob Van Dam, you should take my lead. You used to be a great athlete, a World Champion. You cared what people thought about you, you tried to be 'a better man'. Look where that got you. It got you NOWHERE! At SummerSlam, Rob, I will show you what I think of people like you. At SummerSlam, Rob, I will beat your sorry, weak, pathetic ass and I will show everyone EXACTLY who I am. I am CM Punk. I'm better...than YOU!"
Backstage:
Rhino is shown walking to the ring, flexing and stretching his arms. He stops and stares in front of him. The camera pans around to show Father James Mitchell standing before him, grinning while holding the urn.
"Rhino. I respect you. I respect your power. I want you to know that tonight can go two ways for you. It can go the easy way. You could join us. Join us on our quest for power. You can lie down and let Kane beat you. It's for the greater good..."
Rhino stops him mid-way through his speech.
"You honestly think I believe this bull-crap coming out of your mouth? The greater good? What the hell are you talking about!? Join you in a quest for power? There ain't no chance in hell I'm joining a madman and his goon. I am my own man."
"I see you've made your choice. I guess you've chosen the hard way. I hate to say it, Rhino, but tonight your going to face the consequences. You deny my help. You deny OUR help. Your going to pay.
Rhino laughs at him, taps him on the shoulder and says "See you out there" before walking towards the ring.

King of the Ring: Semi-Finals Match:
Rhino vs. Kane w/ Father James Mitchell
Rhino continues to pump himself up as the crowd cheers for him. Kane walks towards him. They are face-to-face in the centre of the ring. They begin mouthing off at each other. As soon as the bell rings, they begin throwing wild punches at each other left, right and centre. Rhino knees him in the ribs and hammers on his back with several heavy blows. Kane fires back with an uppercut before throwing Rhino into the corner. He hits him with several big shots before hitting a running clothesline, followed by a sideslam for a two-count.
He chases the ref back, frustrated. He grabs Rhino and drags him to the centre of the ring. He runs the ropes and jumps in the air for a massive leg drop. Rhino moves. He kicks Kane in the head twice before nailing a baseball slide-ish dropkick. Kane tries to get to his feet, but Rhino keeps laying into him with punches and kicks. He pushes Kane into the corner and climbs on the second rope for punches. After a few, Kane pushes him off and runs at him for a clothesline. Rhino ducks and nails a gore. The crowd goes wild. He pins Kane. 1. 2. He kicks out! Rhino is in shock. He stands up. Kane immediately sits up at Mitchell's command.
Rhino is even more shocked. Kane approaches him. He tries to engage the Big Red Machine in a fist-fight, but the angered giant quickly overpowers him and starts to beat him up. He grabs Rhino for a chokeslam. He escapes and tries a gore, but Kane dodges it. Kane goes for a second chokeslam. Batista suddenly jumps onto the apron and Kane lets go and walks towards him. Batista jumps off and Kane turns around. GORE! Rhino pins him. 1. 2. 3. The match is over.
Winner: Rhino in 14:11

Rhino quickly rolls out of the ring. The referee raises his hand. He and Batista nod at each other as Rhino leaves. Mitchell climbs into the ring and Kane sits up. He gets to his feet and kicks the ropes in pure anger, before yelling at Batista "Your a deadman!".
Backstage:
Chris Jericho is shown talking backstage. Ric Flair approaches him. He starts to talk to him.
"Chris, I know you don't like me. I know you may hate me. I know you probably want to kick my ass right now. I don't blame you. I'm sorry for the way I've been acting as of late. I'm sorry for everything. I hope that one day you can forgive me. I've realised what is important in my life. Not to insult youngsters, but to help them grow. I've realised that my family is important. I'm going to be taking some time off, so I hope you keep going strong."
Jericho says that he's glad Flair has re-thought his ways. He extends his hand and Flair shakes it. He says that he forgives Flair, because not everyones perfect. He wishes Flair good luck and says he can't wait for his return.
Backstage:
Batista is shown walking into Teddy Long's office. He asked why Teddy wanted to see him. Teddy tells him that he and Kane are getting extremely violent in this fued and he has an extra stipulation for next week's Amulance Match between the two. He says that the winner of the match will be the last man to enter the Elimination Chamber, making them have a large advantage over the other men. Batista says its cool and thanks him before walking out. James Mitchell is at the door. He tells Batista that he will pay for all of his sins. He says Kane will destroy him so bad next week that he wont even be able to enter the Elimination Chamber!
Backstage:
The Rated-R Entourage are shown backstage when Chavo Guerrero walks up. They tell him that its completely unfair they were taken out of the main event. They say there can't be a show without them on it. Chavo tells them to save their energy for when they retain their championships at SummerSlam!

WWE United States Championship: No Holds Barred:
Tommy Dreamer (c) vs. John "Bradshaw" Layfield
Tommy pumps up as JBL mouths off at him from across the ring. Dreamer laughs at him. They walk towards each other as the bell rings. JBL mouths off more and Dreamer smiles. JBL pushes him and Dreamer pushes him back. JBL takes a shot but Dreamer ducks it. He fires back with some of his own. He knocks JBL onto the ropes and runs the ropes before charging at his dazed opponent. JBL leans over and flips Dreamer over the ropes onto the apron. They engage in a fist fight. Dreamer elbows JBL, but he fires back with a big boot, knocking the US Champ off the apron into the barricades.
JBL taunts the crowd before rolling out of the ring, taking the fight outside. They brawl some more outside as fans go nuts. JBL tries to throw Dreamer into the turnbuckle, but he blocks it. He elbows JBL in the ribs and throws him headfirst into the steel pole. He pumps up the crowd. He walks towards JBL, who hits a cheap shot. He pushes Dreamer away and when he turns around, nails a vicious clothesline. He mouths off at Dreamer and the fans. He lifts his opponent from the mat and irish whips him into the apron. Dreamer screams in pain.
JBL runs at him, but Dreamer manages to hit a drop toe hold, sending JBL head-first into the apron. He follows it up with a few punches. JBL hits a cheap shot. He reaches under the ring and pulls out a steel chair. He swings it at Dreamer, but he ducks. It hits the steel pole. Dreamer takes the chair and smashes JBL over the head with it before rolling him into the ring. JBL, now bleeding, gets to his feet. Dreamer kicks him and goes for a DDT. JBL spins around and pushes him against the ropes. He tries for a clothesline from hell, but Dreamer ducks it and kicks him, this time nailing the DDT and pinning him for a three-count.
Winner: Tommy Dreamer in 9:55.

Dreamer celebrates in the ring. He raises his championship in the air. JBL attacks him from behind with a steel chair. He hits him twice before AJ Styles runs to the ring to make the save. JBL takes him down too. Rey Mysterio runs into the ring with a steel chair of his own. JBL flees the ring as Mysterio chases him. Styles helps Dreamer to his feet.
Teddy Long comes out. He announces that on Smackdown! next week, AJ Styles will go one-on-one with Rey Mysterio in a lead-up to the massive four-way match at SummerSlam. The show ends with Styles and Mysterio staring each other down.
