I find it redundant that they show movies that are ridden with F-bombs galore and they are censored through the roof. It's sometimes funny but pointless to show a movie without the cuss words and violence. I was watching Scarface about 2 weeks ago on AMC and I found it pointless to watch the TV version. Sometimes when they reedit the movies and dub over them they are fun to watch. Yeah exactly! Why? What's wrong with the word F. U. C. and you know the rest (I can't do it here because it's a kids forum, I get that Jack Specific.) Everyone says it. Lets be honest. I dunno but when did violence on TV get acceptable? I remember seeing Saving Private Ryan on TNT and it "showing" everything but not "hearing" everything. Stupid really. Look at this way. Kids are are much more likely going to know better than to slaughter people on a beach than to not use coarse language. Language is something easily picked up by impressionable children, especially if it's being thrown around by someone iconic that they look up to. Also look at it from a business point of view. If there's something occurring on one of the programs that you air that's causing people to turn it off, you're going to lose ratings, and more importantly you're going to lose money. On another note--Censoring language isn't going to completely destroy a film as much as removing entire scenes due to violence. That scene in Goodfellas with Tommy is a necessary scene. If you removed every scene with Tommy going insane and killing someone, you'd never see him kill Billy Bats, and you'd never understand why he eventually gets "whacked" as a result of him killing a made guy. The "F" word is used 296 times throughout Goodfellas; however, censoring the word doesn't completely destroy the film's integrity as much as removing scenes of violence. It is annoying, I'll give you that, but that's why I never watch R rated films on television.

Big - Ever since I was a child I've loved this film, and now that I'm older I can look at it in a different light. When I was just a kid I thought about how cool it would be to be in his situation. I dreamed of how cool it'd be to become a grown up for that amount of time, to have all that money to blow on whatever you wanted. Now at this age you can interpret the film in an entirely different way. The way I look at it now is, life is too short, enjoy the little things, don't try to rush things in your life, enjoy the moment and where you're at in life. Also as we get older we tend to things too seriously, we forget to have fun. We only have one shot on this Earth, enjoy it as much as you can.

I think the reason District 9 is amazing is simply because it presents a completely imaginative unbelievable story and makes it feel real.

Stop the presses. Hold everything. A unwarranted, unneeded sequel to an intensely glorified, overrated, unneeded holiday "classic". Will this run on alternate hours during the marathons? If A Christmas Story is an unneeded classic, what's a needed classic?

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter - Finally got around to seeing this film. I have to say I'm glad I only spent $3.00 for both my fiancee and I to see this. I was really excited to see the movie, and unfortunately it was a total let down. It felt like at times the movie took itself way too seriously, and it didn't quite mesh with the over the top action scenes. Also the stylized fight scenes were unnecessary. The slow motion every five seconds was more annoying than anything; however, besides the bit of needless flare, the actions scenes were pretty cool. I mean who wouldn't like to see Abe Lincoln swinging an axe like a mad man lopping vampire heads off?
