Oh no, a loaded gun. The horror. It is a horror when you’re driving around in a rented car and you find a gun you didn’t put there. You have no idea what the history of that gun is, what kind of crimes it could be linked to, if you get into trouble for having it. And especially with social media where you’re guilty once accused, that could be a career killer. Bruce Prichard said he was fired from WWE after he was going to stay with JBL for a while (forgot what happened to his home that his family couldn’t stay there for a bit. May have been an evacuation due to flooding) and he had brought his gun with him (unloaded).

I hate that it’s a Walmart Exclusive because I hate shopping at Walmart. The only Walmart near me is so poorly stocked on figures of any kind. Last two times I ordered from Walmart.com my credit card info got stolen. I’m gonna have to buy this at a marked up price either on eBay or from a vendor at a comic con.

AJ is incredibly over. Nakamura too, but to a lesser extent. Shouldn't that be enough that be enough to draw casual fans? They’re over with wrestling fans. People that don’t usually watch wrestling have likely never even heard of them. Russo made his point poorly, but his point is that if they want people who don’t watch wrestling to have some interest, AJ vs Nakamura isn’t what’s going to get them to consider watching. AJ vs Nakamura is what can keep them watching once someone more famous draws the attention to the show.

They're ugly as hell but I kinda like them. Would probably buy them in figure form I also can't see them without picturing this guy: My brother and I literally call them his “Guy Fieri Tights”. They’re off the chain.

Even though I usually don’t completely agree with Russo, I do like him and thing he’s generally partially right.
AJ vs Nakamura probably won’t draw casual fans. The mainstream audience doesn’t know who they are. So I agree with him about them not being the draw for Wrestlemania. Where I disagree is that I do think the match is a good idea. You use the mainstream recognition of Lesnar, Rousey, Cena, Undertaker (maybe), Rock (maybe), and the Wrestlemania brand to bring eyes to the show. At that point you use a match like AJ vs Nakamura to tell them “Hey. We got this stuff too and it’s pretty good.” That way they can be a draw in the future.
It’s basically a piggyback effect.

This looks like a job for DDP.
Seriously though, he seems to have some time to really explore his options and wait to see if there is some kind of non surgical remedy. The storyline is that he keeps getting out of matches. So if he’s not taking bumps he doesn’t need to make any rushed decisions.

When is Booker ever going to catch Corey Graves 'out and about in the streets' 😂 They live 26 hours away from each other by car 😂 That is an oddly specific fact to know. Lol

What'd annoy me if I lived in that area is that it will throw the inventory off for that store. He bought a case of figures that the inventory system still thinks is there, which could slow down restocks. That's a good point. But for me it's just the what if you get caught. I'm older now, but I have a record from my younger days and I'm not really wanting jail time to save a few bucks. Worst that would happen is they would tell you the items were put out by mistake and not let you buy it. I’ve been to stores so many times where I’ll buy like 5 figures and the cashier just scans the same figure 5 times. The employees see the brand and just figure it doesn’t make a difference. Minimum wage makes people care just enough to not get fired.

And Philly looks really dumb right now for not pushing a little harder. Super Bowl win and Mania money coming in would have been tremendous for the city. They’d have to rebuild the city first after this week. Lol

I met Corey a little over a year ago and he couldn’t have been a nicer guy. He’s got a northeast sarcastic sense of humor I’m familiar with being from NY. I know Booker is really into all the unwritten backstage rules and how veterans should be treated. Corey is also Cole’s protege and Cole takes digs at everyone on commentary. It’s possible Corey was doing what Cole would do and Booker took offense. Add to that his sarcastic tone and it could be something.
On a funny note the camera cut to the announcers at one point during the Rumble and my brother said “Why does Corey Graves always look like he just smelled a fart?”

Wow. I wouldn't be surprised to see Booker released tomorrow, given that he's publicly threatening another WWE employee. About Booker's comment "I get mean if you mess with my green", surely Booker has enough money to not need to worry about needing more, after all his years in wrestling, working for WCW and WWE. Is that not a fair assumption? My understanding of the situation was that Booker was let go when Coach came back last week. I guess the idea was to say Booker would be doing preshows then just not putting him on because who cares about the preshow panel? Plus I think Booker’s deal was kinda like show up and you get paid. I don’t know that he ever had a real solid contract since he’s running for office and running his own promotion/school.

Dude. With no traffic it’s like a 20-30 minute drive from my house. I’m already trying to convince my brother to go with me. He’s like “I’m probably gonna have homework.” I’m like “It’s Wrestlemania!” He’s like “What about how long the show is?” I’m like “It’s longer days when we go to comic cons.” Have we ever considered buying parties on the board. Like if we made a thread to organize like small groups to buy tickets together so at least we sit near people that we kinda know? I’m the same distance. The problem with doing that is where do you sit? Some people wanna be close and have a higher budget while SOme don’t mind as long as they are there. Perhaps we can do something at a restaurant or something that weekend for all WF I was thinking more of a thread so people can go over what they’re looking for, then like 2-5 people with similar wants can arrange to buy tickets together. I also just realized I’m thinking of maybe going to Royal Rumble next year too because it would give me an excuse to visit my friend in Arizona. Now my cousin’s girlfriend asked if we could do a group trip to Vegas for her 21st birthday next May. Stretching a bit thin. Lol

I just found out that the Met Life Stadium is just over four hours away from where I live! So now I just need to see if I can nag my wife into going. Cause all my friends are just "casual fans" nowadays. Dude. With no traffic it’s like a 20-30 minute drive from my house. I’m already trying to convince my brother to go with me. It's not current, but I've always heard many wrestlers hated working with RVD. Guess he was very stiff and busted open a few people the hard way. I think it was more just RVD’s spin kicks that people didn’t like. I don’t think I’ve seen anything else he did really look stiff. Did look like he just threw those feet and they landed wherever they landed though. Lol As for the original post, I haven’t really seen those people listed be stiff. Braun missed a spot when he kneed Brock at Royal Rumble. Sasha can be a little reckless. If you wanna see stiff just check out what happened to Daniel Puder in the 2005 Rumble. Lol

Really curious who the other figures in the Venom wave will be. I’m almost hoping the wave doesn’t have a BAF I want. I’m good with the Marvel Legends Venom came out like a year ago. I missed out on Carnage when he first came out so I’m glad we’re getting another so I can pick him up at a reasonable price.
I also hope this wave isn’t a bunch of symbiotes. The symbiotes in my opinion are kinda overdone. I like Venom, Carnage, and Symbiote Suit Spider-Man. Beyond that, it’s like the ninjas in Mortal Konbat. They seem like cheap knockoff versions.

Is the Prudential Center the building across the walkway from Met Life? I’ve lost track of what that building is called now. For 29 that building is where they had Axxess. Hall of Fame was at MSG. NXT Takeover wasn’t a thing at that time. That's the IZOD, which closed down a few years back. The Prudential Center is in Newark. It's about the same distance from MetLife as the Barclays, but in the opposite direction. Backlash will be there this year in May. Oh ok. Didn’t Izod change names a few times before closing too? Prudential might be better to go to for events. To get from MetLife to Barclays would probably be a pain. I started to take the train for Summerslam because the first year it took like 2 hours just to drive a couple blocks near the arena. NJ tends to be better than NY with arenas and event areas. They have the space considering not much else is going on in NJ. Lol The NJ expo center isn’t bad either but it’s probably too small for Axxess.

For those who complain about every time the WWE comes to New York/New Jersey for big events should just shut up. The WWE will always hold their number one market in high regard. I may consider attending WrestleMania XXXV. Seeing as I have never attended a PPV, let alone a WrestleMania. I would be interesting where SummerSlam 2019 ends up taking place. The Summerslam situation has me wondering if they'll end up using the Prudential Center for the Wrestlemania events instead. It seems practical, but then they'd be giving up the pageantry of New York. As someone planning to attend, I know I'd much prefer they use the Prudential Center simply because of the cost difference between staying somewhere near/in Newark versus staying in East Rutherford or NYC itself. Is the Prudential Center the building across the walkway from Met Life? I’ve lost track of what that building is called now. For 29 that building is where they had Axxess. Hall of Fame was at MSG. NXT Takeover wasn’t a thing at that time.

They'd just pair him with Apollo and Titus lol That’s exactly what I was about to say. Might not be a bad thing though. I kinda like the Titus Worldwide gimmick aside from Dana.

Another good thing about when I went to WM29 was the drive wasn’t bad at all. Took maybe a half hour to get there from my house. And we parked over at the Izod Center/Whatever it’s called these days so we got out of the garage and back on the road within like 10 minutes.
If I do go this time around though I may skip the Hall of Fame. Getting from Axxess in NJ to MSG at that time of day took FOREVER.
Also, how does Axxess work these days? Last time I went they had maybe 6 VIPs throughout the weekend. I looked at this year’s lineup and it looks like almost the entire roster is VIP and a VIP ticket only includes one VIP superstar. So if you wanna meet more do you need to get multiple VIP tickets?

I went to 29 and actually enjoyed it. I may try to get tickets to this.
My only issue is the length. That’s a long freakin show to sit through.
