Idk, the other dude talking about what can't be talked about on this board sounds like the Vince stuff. But that wasn't a problem last year when they had Cody win the Rumble and main event WM. Idk what these people are talking about to be honest. I think they’re referring to AEW. this would be correct.

a fan of the current product or not, it's undeniable that wwe is making a lot of the right moves currently. quite the energy they've got behind them these days

Cody is in this spot because of 3 letters. WWE wouldn't have considered making him into their new star without them, plain and simple. ROH, Impact, New Japan wouldn't have been anything to WWE other than a surprise Rumble entrant that gets dumped in 15 minutes. And you see, the mess of old and new creative regimes have already ruined him. He wasn't good enough to win last year. He's done nothing to prove he is more capable of defeating Reigns nor make his plans foolproof. He won this year's Rumble to seemingly act nonchalant about "finishing the story", a passion that's supposed to drive every action of his. Then in a state of either panic booking or trolling the smarks, they just plan on rerunning the same crap from last year, only cheapen it when Rock is more crucial to dethroning Reigns than Cody. Also, a Cody Rhodes heel turn lmfao What does this even mean?: "WWE wouldn't have considered making him into their new star without them, plain and simple" think 'what can't be spoken about on this board'...

For me it's the lack of connection with the current wrestlers. They just don't captivate me the way 80's and 90's wrestlers did. I grew up in the late 90's early 2000's. All my favorites are gone and I've kind of just accepted it in a way. That's exactly how I feel towards Cody, zero connection. 2 things stand out when I watch his segments, his music is the most over thing about him and without his dad he'd be nothing. Take those 2 things away and what actually is the appeal? Is it because he wears red, white and blue? You boys (American's) are suckers for that lol. i'm canadian and have always been a fan of cody. i think he's a throwback to the type of babyface that's rarely done right in today's wrestling.

Cody has a hot wife and a daughter to take care off... he's making millions & living his dream...making his father & bloodline proud... I highly doubt he cares too much about finishing the story in real life... of course he cares but not as much as his crazy weird obsessed fans lol. He'll finish it eventually anyways. this might be rock's last outing. Cody has some in the tank yet. it might be egregious on a storyline level, but that can be corrected. Cody's day will come, and all of this will make it that much better. This doesn't hafta be Hogan beating Yoko for Bret if we don't want it

it's cool that wrestling can mean that much to someone, but we should remember that it's all not too serious and shouldn't distress
let's try to be nice

I lost interest when he decided to just be a wwe hand and not develop himself further Can't really blame em tbh...getting paid millions to do nothing much lol. Surprised they never released him sooner... 20 years is a long time in WWE ffs. yep, nothing wrong with it. just hard to invest in a guy who isn't in himself or by the company.

There are no such thing as doors in the WWE Universe. An aside, a company that calls itself the "WWE Universe" mocking a term as silly lol lol, very true
