Should i be hesitant to pre order that Punisher since the description of the item is "12 inch Titan Heroes" series Punisher? Just wondering since the pic is clearly of the ML Punisher, but description is totally not that.

After all those pics of MAFEX Joker and Harley figures these Multiverse bersions seem a bit underwhelming. That said,I'll probably still get both of those since the MAFEX ones wont be available for a while still. Also, I am really digging that Icons Harley. She doesnt look as rail thin as the DCUC figure does.

I'm gonna have to opt in on that Revoltech Deadpool. No way around it. I imagine this will probably chime in at around 60.00-65.00? I'm not sure what Revoltech has as a price point retail wise. All i know is they're way up there on the aftermarket.

View AttachmentI know its pretty vanilla posing wise, but i just wanted to share my first attempt at 3D scenery with this brick wall back drop. I'm hoping after a few weeks of practice, I'll be able to pull off a convincing room or full alley of some type. Not nearly close to #TeamCap's laser cell! Lol.......... Mix one part black paint, to 2.5 parts water. Put that down on the foam before painting any other colors. It'll fill in all those cracks, and make it look way more natural. Then after you paint the reds/browns/grays (keep in mind "real" bricks are varying shades of various colors) -- do another black wash. You'll be amazed. Trust me. I appreciate the tips man. I did do a black base before painting it over with the red and added a gray dry brush after. However i did NOT water down the initial black coat. So, thats gonna be very helpful going forward. Thanks man!

Well i figured its time to move collecting to the next level. I thought ,perhaps, instead of consistently forking out more cash to put these things on a shelf to look at ,i could actually DO something with them. So ,i found some old foam poster boards in the closet and am trying to practice dio making with them. For the moment, its crude and basic back drops, such as a brick wall, but the goal is to practice that and move on into full on dios. From there i hope to adapt some stories that I've had floating in my head (one Marvel and one DC) into stories told with the figures. Thats still a ways off though, since I'm just getting my feet wet with the dio thing and some photo editing apps. But it just seems to be the best thing for me to do to enhance collecting this stuff. I'm almost done with the brick wall piece, but i know i need some more practice. Wish me luck....lol.....

Forget who else wanted it, but -- looks like we're getting a Select Destroyer. I'll take it. They do not make enough "Like" buttons for me to hit concerning this news! Can't wait......looks like i can save a few bucks tracking down the undersized ML version now.

He snapped a pic of the rest if the WWE items and they had HoF 2 Hogan, Tito, HoF 1 Slaughter, Warrior, and E36 or 37 (sorry ,done forgot the number ) Dean Malenko and Miz......all ten bucks. Plus a Damien Mizdow and Bo Dallas basic, both for 4. So, heads up to anyone searching for a good deal on HoF figures and has a local Bargain Hunt.

Great pics TeamCap. You gotta put: Absorbing Man Madame Masque Bulldozer Crusher Blizzard Radioactive Man Klaw Whirlwind Zemo Constrictor Tigershark Batroc Boomerang and Beetle Together for the Masters of Evil or my OCD is gonna kill me lol. Lol.....sadly i suffer the same thoughts while rearranging figure shelves. Then i would run into the quandry of Boomerang having to be in a Sinister Six display. Now 7 years ago that would require me buying another Boomerang for both. Thankfully ,my wallet has learned to reach out and bitch slap me to break me of that particular aspect of collecting OCD.

Attachment DeletedI looooove this Mezco Judge Dredd. I wanted to snap a pic of him next to Doom for a scale check. I also wanted to take this opportunity to complain that i CAN apparently post pics here on the forum, but not in a damn PM as myself and Chris Reager found out how inept i am at tht earlier today. Lol

Once again ,innocent people are dead for no reason. My thoughts go out to the victims and their freinds, family, loved ones etc. I fear its just going to get darker out there long before it gets better. My condolences to anyone affected by this madman.

One of the more recent ones is Reba McIntyres name. Apparently its Reba McEntire........which doesn't even look right to me. But ,in my instance, i grew up with many women in my life who just adored that woman. Bought many an LP, cassette, and CD for those people over the years, and i know damn well it was never spelled McEntire on any of those. As for some of the other examples given, i can't comment with any degree of absolute conviction. I remember Berenstein Bears personally, but that was years ago. I'm not a big Forest Gump fan, so i dont know what was in the actual movie anymore, but pop culture references generally have it as Life IS like a box of chocolates. But i am positive on the Reba one.....i don't doubt that one for a second. Plus, unlike the Berenstein fiasco ,there are still a few "official" traces of Reba "McIntyre" on the internet. Some links to old interviews and such from music magazines, E! articles etc.....

ricflair4everIt (Civil War II), like Civil War I, starts off with a fairly clear question where both sides of the equation are looked at...as a fellow comic fan I'm sure there'll be more for you to dig into with it...the fact The Inhumans are involved makes it even more intriguing to me... I'm always down to see the Inhumans involved with earthly affairs. That alone compells me to look into it. Thanks for the heads up.

Picked these up today I haven't read comics in years, what are some recommendations? I'm most likely going to get the Batman: Court of Owls, City of Owls, & Death of The Family box set when it's released in September. Thats a strong boxset. I haven't read City of Owls yet, but i can attest to Court of Owls and Death of the Family as two of the absolute high points of DC's New 52 initiative. I'd also add Endgame and thr first TBP of Suicide Squad to that list of New 52 home runs. For the most part, i was underwhelmed with that era, and glad to see somewht of a return to the original continuity with Rebirth. On the Marvel side, Civil War II intrigues me enough to want to give it a shot..........Captain Hydra ,however, convinces me to savey money and just ask someone who read it whether or not its any good. Lol

Hard to say. I emailed Dorkside about it. They say they expect to have a small allotment in june. Possibly some in july and then august. They seemed a bit more hopeful that they could fulfill the preorders, but said its not a guarantee. All orders are being filled on first come first served basis. So, basically they "should" be in this month but who gets them will be up to what order you are in the que. Of course this may be totally different when it comes to orders placed at other sites. I ordered as soon as they went up. Bet it's gonna be a crap shoot Unfortunately I'm thinking so too. I had them in my cart as they went up, but the site kept freezing on me and it took about 30 minutes to check out. So naturally I'm a bit concerned about where i stand in the pecking order. Still, i think it was early enough to guarantee myself a set.....now when I'll be able to get it is totally a shot in the dark.

Bought a 3.75 inch Doc Ock. Got him for 10 bucks at gamestop. Kinda upset his left arm is really loose . I saw the Shanna and Vulture at Gamestop the other day. Marked down to 7 bucks each. Was strapped for spending money at the time and sent a friend down to grab them for me when my funds came thru.....they were gone of course. Sucks that the arm is loose on your Doc Ock, but its still a nice looking figure. I'd pick it up if i saw it, but I've yet to lay eyes on it in person myself.

No news on the Civil War front for me. Still no sign of it anywhere near me. However i did have a massive Toybiz score at 2nd and Charles. I swear everytime i go in there, they restock TB era MOC Legends. And they stock these decade plus old figures more frequently than the modern ones at a retail joint! Lol.....anyway, i came out with Wonder Man, Bullseye, Sabretooth,Deathlok, Gambit, Nick Fury, and Captain Marvel all MOC and around 70 bucks. Not too bad. I had to leave behind a couple others, but something tells me there will be even more there when i return.
