I really didn't need it, but I had been eyeing it at TRU for a while. It was on clearance for $17. And with my $5 coupon it was well worth $12 for another. I'm really trying to ignore the 3.75" line........trying being the key word. Don't really have either the money or space for it. But that Nightwing set, plus the Grundy and Clayface ones, are tempting me badly. Thats a great pickup, especially for the price. Hows the articulation on the larger figures like Croc?

Aha! You assume Hasbro CAN think! Lol....they've completely underestimated this product, but if you saw how well they missed a golden opportunity with having mass product out during Star Wars most successful/relevant months, then tjis shouldn't surprise anyone. However i contacted Dorkside myself to see if there is any kind of light they can shed about what our practical chances are of getting these. At least those of us who ordered during their first hour or so. I'll let you guys know what they say (if anything notable) once they get back to me. I figure I'll get an e-mail if something happens. Hopefully they get it sorted. Feel bad for those who came in too late. I know I e-mailed them that night about changing my Iron Skull/Fury/Panther wave, to have the whole Cap S3 wave instead of just Iron Skull, and it took them til 20 minutes before close of business the next day to get back to me. So I know they were swamped. Now I know they were probably just grateful I didn't ask for a second X-Men wave. Wonder if this will lead to them putting limits on what people order? You know some of the earliest buyers bought up multiple cases. Yeah,I'm hoping there is some kind of cap on those multiple case orders during the initial shipment. At the end of the day though, they're a reputable retailer. Theres no reason everyone shouldn't get exactly what they preordered ,no matter the amount, because Hasbro decided to lower a production run. This wave is in no way an exclusive or linited edition set, so its kind of disappointing to find out Hasbro is unofficially treating it as such ,at least at this particular time.

It took me around 31 minutes to complete my check out for the preorder last week. I'm guessing because of heavy traffic during that time. I can only hope being roughly a half hour late in getting the order through, will not result in missing out here. Everyone on Fwoosh is freaking like this will be another Jubilee wave debacle. And while i doubt its that bad, it could be similar........lets all hope not. Yeah, here's hoping for the best. I've honestly NEVER seen this sort of reaction to ordering toys, etc... I mean, people are straight vultures for this wave. They're toys. Wonder what Hasbro thinks of this? Aha! You assume Hasbro CAN think! I was born and raised in indiana myself. And i used to think we got things last up there too......until i moved to Alabama. Lol.......still no sign of that Civil War wave here, and it isnt looking too good for now. As for Walmart employees opening the boxes on the floor/pallet, I've found them to ususally be jerks about it. Started to have to just skip asking them and get what want. Lol I should have made an addendum. Find someone who looks like they're doing their job, anyways. If they're actually working, they shouldn't mind doing their job. If they seem like they're just standing around collecting the paycheck -- skip em. Customers get this backwards all the time lol I get it, though. I've had to open a few cases on my own. Particularly at either TRU or Meijer. Not for lack of willingness to help. Just hard to find employees at those places, sometimes. I miss Meijer. We didn't have any in Evansville when i lived there, but we always used to hit them up in Louisville. Of course now that ive moved to Alabama, Evansville gets a Meijer. Lol......anyway,yeah, if you find someone actually working the toy department it is possible to get some help. But its very rare to find anyone there in my experience. I've tried to go to other departments for help, but the most i get is they walk back over to toys with me and look up the aisles....find no one just as i did....and say "well theres no one here right now." Thanks Reed Richards....i deduced that myself before i came to you. I just skip the middle man now. Lol

Thanks man! I'm in the Midwest (Illinois) and we always get things last so it might be worth checking the walmarts around you this week. Yeah, I'm in IN, and seen 1 fig from one case of it. I've apparently missed out on 3 cases at other stores, but nothing else of note. I was born and raised in indiana myself. I've been in your spot before. Nothing like trying to go stealth while juggling boxes and simultaneously opening a case without being noticed! Congrats on your score......send some good luck my way.lol

I fully expect that #teamcap's idea about Captain Hydra being a seperate deal from Rogers ,will become reality somehow. Like Red Skull is the mastermind behind the current evil spy Cap, but when the timeline/storyline/ whatever, resolves itself.......Captain Hydra will be a Capatain America villain going forward. Whether its an evil Steve Rogers doppleganger or the mantle of some new character, i still think it'll be around in the future. And if it isn't, its an absolute waste of an opportunity to have a new arch villain for the "real" Cap. And for a pretty easy figure in the future.

Just received the Mezco One:12 Spock figure. Mezco hit a home run. I'll edit with pics soon. You lucky dog. I'm trying to get my battle plan together to order him this week myself. Can't wait to see those pics! After getting my PX Exclusive Dredd the other day, i am sold on trying to get as many of these as i can, with all 3 Trek figures being right at the top too

Saw Funko Pop Suicide Squad series yesterday at Gamestop . Couldn't resist picking up an exclusive Harley Quinn. Theres actually a good chance I'll try to pick up all these.....which is stupid on my part, the last thing i need is another line to collect....but dammit they looked nice. They also had Suicide Squad Mystery Minis as well, but didn't really get the chance to see what figures were in the series.

I finally got around to accessorizing all my DC figures and I have everything from the mail except the Unmasked Flash POP Vinyl which is coming from overseas so I wanted to post up close photos of my collection.... LOVE the setup! Everything looks great and organized well. Definitely a couple items I'm jealous of there. And your pics may have sold me on the 3.75" Multiverse stuff.

Just my opinion here, so don't take it as gospel, but i believe the majority of the Fox/Marvel/Hasbro unofficial (but secretly official) embargo has kind of peaked. I noticed an interview with Mezco concerning their One:12 line of figures. They said that Xmen and all related characters are "on the table" as options at this point. The ONLY Marvel property they are not allowed merchandising rights to is the Fantastic Four and related characters. So,I'm thinking we are probably in the launching stages of getting at least one wave of Xmen in the annual ML rotation from here on. Again, strictly speculation, but i think thats where we are. That would make the jubilee and first class sets worth it to me. Especially to get bafs of bigger characters and have a wide assortment of characters. I just really don't want to wind up with 75 wolverine figures either. Wolverine hoarding is a risk with anybX related line. Lol....i can list 5 necessary Wolverine iterations i deem crucial to a collection. But somehow they can find a way to do those 75 when given the chance. Lol....i agree with you about Jubilee honestly. I clamored for her for lord knows how many years. Toybiz, Hasbros early years......only for them to go the BAF route with a nearly impossible to find exclusive wave. She's an essential piece i would pony up the money for if i had it. I do still hold onto hope that we'll get her in her blue/yellow strike team outfit someday.....in the main line...................one can hope its not some SDCC set.

Another point of interest for you is that they announced a second Xmen set for later in the year. Which features Cyclops and Colossus along with debut figures for Dazzler, Shatterstar, Polaris, and Sunfire. So ,getting in on the ground floor with this X wave that just went up, could be a good move as it sets the foundation in case we get even more X related waves in 2017. That's one of the main things I'm worried about. I remember the jubilee wave, and the box set and just didn't figure anything else would come of it. Now they're making these two waves, but with how odd marvel is about x-men anymore I wasn't sure if this would wind up it or not. They're worth it. Well...mostly. My advice is go in on the new wave for sure, its a tremendous set full of heavy hitters and its reasonably priced. Something it most definitely WONT be in a month or so. The boxset is mid range. If you look around enough you can probably find it for a price you are comfortable paying. Now the Jubilee wave.....patience. Thats about all i can say there. Stryfe is the only debut character in the proper wave, and hes the most affordable for now. There are other versions of Storm and Magneto you can get cheaper. Jubilee herself could be worth the investment if you find the right deal, but i just think that she will get another release eventually. But, i wholeheartedly think you should jump on this new wave for sure. Ah. See Cyclops and Magneto would be my biggest wants. Followed by Jubilee. Could care less about storm or wolvie. The first class I could pass on also. But this new set is ridiculous good. Another point of interest for you is that they announced a second Xmen set for later in the year. The boxset could be had for around 80-100 tops. The newest preorders are going for 159.99 for the eight figures plus free shipping. Now the Jubilee wave. Oh boy......Wolvie runs around 50-60, Stryfe can be anywhere between 35-50. Theres the end of the good news. Magneto and especially Storm, are insane. Magneto is over 100 by himself now, and Storm is about 200. These are MOC prices of course. But truthfully theres not a big margin of difference from moc to loose when it comes to the Jubilee wave. The Jubilee BAF herself has been seen as low as 120.00 lately. And, believe it or not, is a bit of a bargain compared to what I've seen her listed at previously. Ah yeah. Maybe I shouldn't buy into these lol. I'd mainly want to buy each set whole. I'd likely open them too. They're worth it. Well...mostly. What would I be looking at spending on getting this new x-set as well as the Jubilee set and the box set of the first class. I'm really considering buying in as soon as I can afford it. After having a 30 minute fight with the shopping cart at Dorkside, i finally was able to secure my Xmen preorder last night. However i preordered the Cap wave a couple hours prior, and my confirmation email/reciept on that order disappeared after i placed my Xmen order. The site still shows i ordered it in my history of purchases, so, im hoping I'm still covered there. There were quite the stream of obscenities flowing for that 30 minutes of trying to check out last night. The Ol Man from A Christmas Story would have been quite proud. Do you have GMail by chance? I placed two orders as well, and thought my first one disappeared, it was actually just attached to the second order e-mail as a tab above it, ala... Actually i do have gmail, but i ended uo usibg my yandex account last night because i forgot my gmail based login password for my first Dorkside account. Lol

Its looking more and more like I'll have that Xmen wave in my hands before i have a single Civil War figure in my clutches. Lol. Which i guess is fine because the whole X wave has more to offer me IMO. But still......id like a BP and Fury without breaking my wallet. And I'm just about to the point of ordering Nuke and Guardian off the net at near retail.
