This is ing sh*te from Stoke. Against 10-man Hull who played on Thursday and they still look like they can't hit a barn door. Worse than Newcastle's finishing.

Credit where credit is due. Liverpool getting this Balotelli deal wrapped up pretty quickly but will he get a game ahead of Sturridge? Worth the risk at £16mil imo and increase moral with a big name but don't think he's the massive signing they needed. Hopefully proves me wrong because there's definitely a player there. I imagine they'll play the same formation as last season but with Balotelli instead of Suarez.

This stuff coming out about Malky Mackay is quite incredible all things considered.

So United adds Rojo, but loaned out Nani and Fellaini gets a pretty bad injury. How many midfielders do they even have fit now? -4.

Just did a quick prediction for the rest of the season, got this:
POS P GD PTS 1 Chelsea 38 44 89 2 Man City 38 44 84 3 Liverpool 38 29 80 4 Arsenal 38 28 78 5 Man Utd 38 26 76 6 Tottenham 38 15 70 7 Everton 38 16 64 8 Southampton 38 1 50 9 Newcastle 38 -14 46 10 Stoke 38 -4 45 11 Swansea 38 -9 44 12 QPR 38 -22 41 13 C Palace 38 -16 39 14 Aston Villa 38 -20 39 15 Sunderland 38 -13 38 16 West Brom 38 -14 35 17 Hull 38 -26 35 18 Leicester 38 -17 34 19 West Ham 38 -22 34 20 Burnley 38 -26 31
I imagine it will be similar to this, although I was a little shocked how low West Ham ended up.

I still can't believe the great bargain I got in 2009. Fan Interaction tickets were only £15 back then and I got to meet the whole touring roster. One of the best wrestling memories I have.

Wow. This is officially the dumbest thing I've read on the internet today. Yeah because Network execs are never morons, and they never cancel shows unless they deserve it. Give me a break. There's a difference between "that show didn't deserve to get cancelled, whoever did it is a moron" and "I hope this POS is happy that he killed Robin Williams".

I hope the POS who cancelled it is happy with himself. Wow. This is officially the dumbest thing I've read on the internet today. Yep. Embarrassing comment. So the guy who's job it is to cancel low-rated shows on his network, shouldn't have cancelled a low-rated show because he was supposed to predict the main star would kill himself a few months later? Give me a ing break.

United's defence is shocking. Can't believe some of the Utd supporters who tried to claim it was and I quote "good".
It's by far the worst of the top 7 and struggles to even be in the top 10 defences in the league.

Is this bad news for other managers, though? Now a bad start could mean Pulis replaces you early on. He can clearly turn a side around. Depends which team you manage. Pulis would do great at a team like Hull, WBA or Burnley.

I've seen people saying all the teams outside the top 8 would look to Pulis if their current manager is not working out, but I don't see it that way.
Crystal Pulis worked so well because it was easy to change Palace's style of play to fit Pulis' system. It would be much harder to do that at say Swansea, while West Ham are looking to play a more attractive style so it wouldn't make sense for them to hire him.
I think we'd be a good fit because I can't imagine Irvine will have us playing good football anyway.

I'll be the first to say I wouldn't mind Pulis at my club if Irvine doesn't work out....which he likely won't.
EDIT: ffs Mike

I hear the reason he's left is because Palace's board desperately want to sign Zaha and Pulis doesn't want him (rightly so as he's crap and wouldn't fit into a Pulis side). Stupid club putting that average player on such a pedestal when the manager worked miracles to keep them up last season. I think that's one of the reasons but not the big reason. The main reason seems to be that Palace have missed out on Pulis' main wants (Sigurdsson, Michu, Caulker), likely due to Parish not wanting to cough up the dough.
