Is this going to be available everywhere or one of those “hunt it down/trade your kids” one per case store exclusives? It’s really cool so I can only imagine Ali's in the main line, Liv Morgan and Sonya Deville are Target exclusives and The Rock is Walmart. No idea personally on who's the chase in the set, but I'd reckon Ali would fit the bill. Someone in this thread I think said he was so we may very well get WM 34

I think I'm sold on Bryan for sure. Mabel was already preordered so he's a lock, just wished he had another accessory (Like Bezerker's sword)
Taker I'll pick up at some point, doesn't look that bad but not good enough to preorder. Same with Braun, though that cello is dope.
Brie's a hard pass as is Reigns

He wouldn't be referring to the Wm 34 Beefcake was he? Like I said the original sold well but the other not so good. I think he's grasping at straws to not release Valentine

I thought the E49 Beefcake sold well enough all things considered. Something reeks in the state of Denmark if The Hammer is nixxed yet Rooster and Muraco are a go (Not that I'm complaining, I welcome them all)

I used to use GRIM but now I use MBG. Same discount, but benefiting a friend of mine instead.

Rick Martel, Demolition and the Von Erichs are some of the most difficult, at least in terms of retail releases. I'm not really counting the Matty exclusives.

I say it's a distinct possibility TBH. They already have the molds and such and even a new scan was sculpted. It's more of a "Where can we fit a Hollywood Hogan" situation rather than having to make a new figure from scratch. I'd imagine they'd want to get him out ASAP and in a wide release line, even a Ringside exclusive or WWE Shop deal.
The question now isn't if Hollywood is on the way, but when. Keep in mind the Storm Hogans came out not that long ago so maybe Mattel is aware of this and holding off until the dust settles there. I think by SDCC we'll hear or see something.

Given the intention is to have a separate series full of popular sellers to make room for more out there names in the main line, I decided to do a set of modern and flashback Top Talents. I'm choosing guys who have a lot of distinct looks and either sell well or have decent enough TV time
Modern:
John Cena Jeff Hardy Seth Rollins Finn Balor (Either as is with the jacket or any recent Demon paint)
Flashbacks
Macho Man Sting Shawn Michaels Razor Ramon

I'm holding off for now especially since it's just a preorder. I will eventually pull the trigger, just not today.

I would love to see this happen, but you know Mattel would say something about making them physical store exclusives to get more foot traffic.
Personally I think online would be just as good since Mattel and Walmart/Target would still be getting money, maybe more since more money's being tossed at scalpers who look at these exclusives with dollar signs in their eyes knowing they're 1 per case. Having them online, even for preorder like Rooster, would give more money where it counts.
If they want to keep with the brick and mortar stores only shtick, why not add another per case especially since starting with E69 Target has two exclusives and Walmart has one?

Someone just posted on here last week pegs full of elite nakamura’s that comes with a cloth jackets for about $16, what makes them think this one will sell for over $30. Good point, though the only one I saw locally I ended up getting. It's good enough for me.

Is this a new head? It looks like it may be, although I've never seen an unpainted head sculpt for The Rock. IIRC all of the heads are new. I don't collect Basics aside from the odd pickup but I'll be getting these guys if only for the heads

I too broke down and got one for a little more than I would have liked. If I see another I suppose I can keep it MOC or as trade bait for Dunne or Patterson when he comes out.

I think we've always had a steady stream be it in the main line or exclusives. Seeing guys like Muraco and Monsoon and before that Mabel and AE Hardyz not to mention the Retrofest line keep me holding my head high. Now there's a ton of former talent working backstage roles meaning more flashbacks could be on the horizon like The Hurricane, Double J Jeff Jarrett, Brother Love, possibly Michael PS Hayes/Dok Hendrix (I'm probably the only one who wants a Hendrix but IDC)
In the end it's clear Mattel's trying to keep everyone satisfied from kids to us grown up dorks. If the distribution was better all around things would be perfect.

Ended up copping the Wrekkin' Slam Mobile for about $20. For a Braun head and car I think I did alright
