The Basic's proportions are much more true to life, IMO.

Triangle Town Center TRU has all WM33 Basics, both WM33 Elites, and DM Nakamura on the shelves.

One good match in his whole career and he won't shut up. Bleh.

There was a lot of great stuff at the top of the card in the Attitude Era, but there was a whole lot of complete garbage underneath. And even some of the things mentioned here are tiresome in retrospect; the endless nWo double-crosses in particular.

Punk's "pipe bomb" promo is generally recognized as the beginning of the Reality Era.

Pg era and new era are pretty awful to watch. Nxt is good out of the three being raw, smackdown and nxt. It feels like wwe lost its balls to make edgy content and focuses on old timers to keep the show going. You should watch Smackdown. Last night's show was great.

I like the ring myself minus the turn buckles. I hate that people are being Jerks about the Goldberg figure. He is a figure most people want to complete rosters. Not to mention this run in WWE he has been more authentic and feels way less scripted and robotic. He finally does more than talk. Yes his matches are short and skills are on scale with Cena' but he's never been a long match guy. I think the ring is decent for what ithey includes and Goldberg is a good figure. I'm no fan of John Cena's character, but he's a tremendous wrestler. MITB '11, the US title open challenge, the matches with Styles, all excellent. Goldberg is NOT on a par with Cena by any stretch of the imagination.

If this is indeed 20x20 I'm interested. I've never bought an ASR because it's too big. Don't care about Goldberg at all.

Walmart on Wake Forest Rd. had Basic 69 in the clearance aisle for some reason, but they were not discounted. Nabbed the very nice-looking Sami.

Walmarts at Triangle Town Center and off Wake Forest Rd. in Raleigh have a bunch of retros. Multiples of Cena, Brock, Roman, and Owens at both locations.
The TTC location also had two each of both TNF Elite 3-packs. Haven't seen any single elites yet.

I was pleasantly surprised to find the regular cereal box closure underneath the pull strip. Closes up easy and looks great, graphics are printed on both flaps so you don't lose any. Great job by Mattel.

Sounds like the perfect question to ask when Ringside asks for Qs to be Aed only to have them ignore it in favor of "When will [new talent who has been on tv for half a minute] have a figure out?" Ringside is not going to nerf their cash cow in public. C'mon. Someone should be publicly prodding Mattel about QC, but not a retailer. That's bad for both sides.

Aside from Chyna & Wendi Richter, I don't believe anyone ever paid to see women wrestle. I've got a big stack of plane & show tickets from the past two years that say otherwise.

Basic Demon eh? Have we seen that before? It's the Elite; the ab crunch is hidden by the lighting in the photo. Basic rings are fun for playing with figures. Kids go nuts for the flips the figures do off those ropes. And as much as they're out of scale, the ASR is also out of scale in a way that's more annoying to me. The basic rings are also perfect for the tops of bookshelves, whereas the ASR is too big to go anywhere.

Did they pack a lot of Becky in these cases? Seeing tons of Becky & Sin Cara on shelves and no other figures.
Cary TRU has the Booty O's pack.

I want America alpha but those scans are atrocious. Plus out of all the nice attires they have, they went with the most blandest one. At the point the attire for these had to be set, I'm pretty sure the only choices were the attire we got and their previous Shoot Nation gear. IIRC they rolled with the grey/red for quite a while before going full Steiner.
