Like a lot of Mattel figures, the Gable SCAN is fine, but the indiscriminate paint hobbles the likeness.

Why did they raise the price? I thought $99.99 was a bit much for a plastic belt, but $120? That's just silly. WWE charges $220 for a plastic belt, so they probably figured they were still in a good place at $120. I bought the Jakks belt, it's great. The strap isn't any stiffer than the WWEShop versions and it looks awesome. I got it 15% off, and I think $100 for a good-looking, full-size replica is a decent price.

Need to retire the low-cut women's upper torso. No one on the roster is wearing gear like that any more, and it's especially wrong visually for tops like Bayley's camisole or Emma's halter top, where none of that contour is on display.

Weird to see Amazon pack things so poorly. I just got two basics and two elites from them, and all four were in individual plastic bags and then the box was filled with air pacs.

Stopped at Triangle Town Center Toys R Us and they had Elite Legends AND Network Spotlight Bayley. Six Bayleys there, I took two, including one that was clearly on top of the case and had a blade cut in the window. That one will be opened so it didn't bother me. I will say that they all had some rubbing on the boxes, so you might wait for a different location/case if you want truly MOC.
Legends had already been picked over, but I left one Undertaker, one Y2J, & one Warrior.

The WWE Commemorative belt is plastic on pleather and runs $220. Why is that a "decent replica...option" at twice the price, and this belt, which appears identical, is "excessive" at $100? The commemorative belt is made from the same molds, it's Higher quality and not mass produced. I can't comment on the quality of the Jakks belt vs. WWE because I haven't seen a Jakks one yet, but of course the WWE ones are mass produced. They're available to ship on demand and at 10+ live events every week. If anything, I'd bet a production run of WWE Commemoratives is a larger number of pieces than this Jakks belt.

The belt is an affordable option, to some people. Those who want a decent replica have 2 options already, those who want the toy have an option too. I'm not sure who this belt is targeted at. In my opinion, $100 for a plastic belt on a pleather strap is excessive. The WWE Commemorative belt is plastic on pleather and runs $220. Why is that a "decent replica...option" at twice the price, and this belt, which appears identical, is "excessive" at $100?

It doesn't hurt that Tye is one of the best technical wrestlers on the entire WWE roster.

Should be a Defining Moments with his Takeover: The End flashing Mr. Sinister collar.
The guy has his own camera gimbal. He deserves a figure.

Very sad news. Glenn made the very best figure review videos available and always seemed like a nice fellow. RIP.

TNF Elites are hitting in Raleigh. Snagged a Breeze and Bam Bam from the Wal-mart on New Hope Church Rd. in north Raleigh. Left one Breeze, two Rocks, and two Rusevs.

But it isn't. It's a bad idea. The BP line gives easy access to tag teams and alternate attires without having to run around looking for two shortpacked figures in a set.

Target next to Triangle Town Center in Raleigh has the Dusty ring set. I took one and left four. More importantly, a ten year old kid saw me looking at them and said, "You know who my favorite wrestler is? IT'S JOHN CENAAAAA DA NA NA NAAAAAAAA"
I got memed in real life AND a sweet figure.

When CJ Parker left NXT to go to New Japan, he sold a bunch of his gear on eBay. My girlfriend loves CJ, so I bought his entrance vest for her at a very good price. It's a neat piece in general, but especially as a part of Kevin Owens' WWE debut. Hopefully after his Young Lion phase he'll be a big star in NJPW and it'll be worth a mint.

Here's the thing about the elites in the Spotlight series: no one in it is a regular active wrestler, which leaves the appeal for kids at zero.
Bayley got that pop as a person who is NOT ON TV. She's gonna be huge on the main roster, and her sales appeal is higher because she's kid-friendly, ACTIVE, and has crossover with casuals and smarks. I flew to Brooklyn specifically to see that match, and it was totally incredible. I'll probably buy two of these, and I won't be the only one.

I wish the jacket allowed some posing, but considering she has five accessories and they're all great, that's easy to overlook. The gear looks awesome as well. My one problem is the molding of the rings. They're both molded in the same direction, so if you pose her properly for showing off the rings (palms in, fingers up), she can't really hold the "BOSS" ring and it falls out. In the pose, the post of the "LEGIT" ring goes into the fist and is sturdy, but the "BOSS" ring goes in on the pinky side and the hole is too big to grip it. If "BOSS" had been molded with the post on the other end, she could grip both properly.
