I've never seen that prototype before. Is that confirmed as genuine? Didn't we see Cass along with Jericho on a Mattel employees shelf long before Jericho was released? Either in a photo or video with Cathy Kelley? But it looked like a proper release version rather than a test shot. i.imgur.com/quGb2hv.pngAh yes, I did see that. But I didn't notice the action on it. I think I thought it was a clothesline action, and wondered if he'd just be regular-sized Cass.

I've been to two meet & greets, and I felt like such a mark. But so glad i didn't chicken out, looking back. I saw Bret, and although I would've liked it if we became best mates and went off drinking together, I accepted that I was just a dude who paid to see him and get some stuff signed.
Last year I met Minoru Suzuki, and I wore a custom Suzuki-Gun shirt. He snarled at me, and said "YOU MAKE?!". I said "yeah, i make" and he agreed to sign it. Then after Zack Sabre Jr walks past me, clocks the t-shirt and says "has he (Suzuki) seen that?" i said he had, then he saw that it was signed and signed it himself. Really nice bloke.
So overall, it was worth it, even though I felt like a total mark, and for a second I thought Suzuki was gonna murder me. I think you'll look back one day and be glad you did it, even though you're initially disappointed.

I don't think you should be too downbeat; the autograph looks decent to me. Jake's just an old bloke trying to make some cash after his wrestling career finished, can't blame him for that. Man's gotta eat, right? He's tired, got a hard schedule for his age. I'm sure he would've liked to shoot the breeze with you for a bit but like all of us we can't always be on all the time.

I’d love to see them go with Hasbro, and rival the retro line. the Bucks did the LJN style, so they must be a couple of nostalgic fellas.

I bought a couple of these from the bargain bin at Tesco a couple of years ago. Got Wolfpac Sting amongst others.

With all the (understandable) shortcuts they've been taking with the Retros so far, I just can't imagine they're gonna be making all-new female moulds. Having said that, Sherri, Luna, and Alundra Blaze have to be considered.
Everyone is spot on about the Earthquake/Typhoon mould. We need it for Vader, Bundy, Mabel. I'd be happy with a series of exclusively fat-guys with the same action. Though we have to be realistic and accept we will not get a Bastion Booger.

I’m glad the internet wasn’t really a thing during the hasbro era. “Why does Bret look like he’s squeezing out a dump?! Cmon Bill, answer us!”
I don’t even blame them for sticking a shirt on Samoa Joe to save money. It reminds me of Roddy Piper’s Hasbro. At the time I thought “what use is this?” So I had Piper do commentary “look at the size of that HAM HOCK!” But now I’m ok with it. Having said that, a Piper in ring gear retro? Bring it on.

In hearing Randy has nothing on his tights. Was that common knowledge? I figured they spent the detail budget on his tats

Now that we’re getting a Diesel, my next #1 pick has to be... Hollywood Hogan.
Also, I’m surprising even myself with this one, because I’m not a fan of his at all - I wouldn’t mind another John Cena. Love him or hate him, he’s a top top guy, and the first figure has none of the bright colours associated with Cena. But that’s if they need to put a “current” guy in there.
Also from non-Hasbro eras, I wouldn’t mind a Batista (flashback or comeback attire - bluetista would be great), or an Edge (rated R or attitude Era)
Maybe if by some miracle they might decide to do a manager. If so, Bobby Heenan in sparkly jacket is an absolute must.
Now I’m getting carried away.

The retro Diesel is far better than the Hasbro we would have got. We can moan about the lack of tassels, or molded on singlet all we like, but the original had neither and was just going to be a Kevin Nash head on a Papa Shango body, and that would have sucked.

Diesel. 25 years I’ve been waiting for this and it’s finally here.
Because they’re prototypes, they’re all hand-painted a look a little rough around the edges, but I am ridiculously excited for this Diesel. When the retros were first shown at comic con or whatever it was years ago, the one figure I needed was Diesel. Now it’s HERE!
Of course it’s immediately met with negative remarks on social media. I don’t understand some people, I really don’t. Nothing is ever good enough.

I don't care about DC (or Marvel, or any other comic book stuff)... but these are awesome! I'd totally pick a few of these up if i saw them.

the shop of wrestling tweeted this along with another picture of Goldust. Also, they confirmed Samoa Joe will have green shorts instead of the original red we saw.
EDIT: Just noticed this is posted in another thread. My B.

In the latest Double or Nothing video Cody teases his opponent, but the card is blurred. But, look on the cabinet behind him. When he comes in and plays with the dog there are some funko pops there of the elite guys. In the very next shot (and purposely in frame) a new figure is added in a pot that wasn’t there before. What figure is it? Is it a clue or just some poor continuity?
