He goes for a cover but HBK kicks out, later on HBK gets Booker into the sharpshooter when suddenly he is hit in the back by a sledgehammer! Hey Steve, think we could get a 2000/2001 Booker T with the WCW belt? (And can it not have the WWE logo on it? It makes since for figures from when WWE revived the belt in '02 but not for WCW)

Shawn Michaels interview before match:
Coach: We are minutes away from the World Heavyweight Championship match and I am here with the challenger the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels! Shawn, what's your plan for this match tonight? HBK: Well Coach, I'm going to do what I do best... I'm going to put on the best performance I can and I'm going to walk out World Heavyweight Champion! Coach: Do you have any words towards our World Heavyweight Champion? HBK: Book, I'm glad you are the World Heavyweight Champion. Hunter had that belt for way too long then at Wrestlemania you shut his mouth and you took what he loves most in this business. But just because you did both me and the world a favor by ending Triple H's reign, that doesn't mean I won't give you a easy break. I'm gonna take you to the top of the mountain and then all the way back down with good ol' Sweet Chin Music and regain my World Heavyweight title! __________________________________________________________
Booker T (c) vs. Shawn Michaels for the World Heavyweight ChampionshipAfter both the challenger and the champ enter, the bell rings and the two lock up. At first neither one can move the other an inch but Booker eventually overpowers HBK and tosses him to the ground. Booker and HBK lock up again and move into the ropes where HBK irish wipes him and hits a flying clothesline. HBK kips up while Booker rolls over and picks himself up and walks into a spinebuster that Michaels uses to bridge into a pin that barley gets a one. The champ gets up as well as the challenger who then proceed to exchange blows, Michaels finds himself in the corner and gets knee'd in the gut by Booker, who moves Michaels to the top and hits a superplex from the top rope! Booker covers Shawn and gets a one. The match continues until another flying clothesline knocks Booker to the ground, Shawn kips up and heads to the top rope. He leaps and hits the elbow drop! Michaels hooks the leg, for a two count! The champ still has fight in him! HBK hops up and walks to the corner, everyone but the dazed champ knows what's coming. HBK begins to stomp down on the mat, tuning up the band and misses! Booker dodges and kicks Michaels in the gut and moves towards the rope and is about to hit the scissor kick when HBK moves out of the way and superkicks the champ! They both fall and Michaels drapes a arm around the champ and the ref nearly gets a three count but the champ kicks out!! Both men are still down as the ref begins to count, 1... 2... 3...Booker starts to show signs of life..4...5..HBK starts crawling to the ropes...6..7...Booker pulls himself up...8..Shawn does too...9.. Both men are up and hits Michaels in the gut again and jumps up and hits the Scissor Kick!! 1! 2! 3!! Booker retains the World Heavyweight Championship! Winner and STILL World Heavyweight Champion: Booker TBooker holds the title belt up high for all to see as the Fink announces the results to the crowd and Booker's theme plays. HBK gets up and shakes the champ's hand and raises his arm up high before leaving Booker to end the show holding the World Heavyweight title up high.

Hogan was supposed to be on the Starrcade '83 card as I recall. There is an old promotional poster out showing that. I think of Hulk was in the NWA he would have played second fiddle to Dusty Rhodes. I could see Dusty saying, "let's get a tag title win together, baby, then you lose the belts and I will go after Flair and you and Magnum take care of the Russian's, daddy." Imagine Hogan being on the first Starrcade and the first Wrestlemania...

Okay maybe or maybe not possible NWA Champ, he might've gone to New York anyways. Although we might've gotten Hogan v. Flair a decade early.
