How are everyone's RPs shaping up so far? I'm officially on my 9th complete rewrite, but I think this is "the one". Assuming I get the outside approval needed to proceed, I should be able to post either today or tomorrow. PSA: if it's been thirteen years since you wrote a character who never had any backstory, it might be best to just leave them where they lie. I do a lot of editing as I write, which makes my writing sessions long, but there is little to no editing needed once I'm finished. Really, it's less editing than it is caring probably too much how each sentence sounds and reads. My stuff tends to lean on the poetic and dense side, which probably lends itself to that type of 'editing'. I always enjoy hearing other people's writing process.

I think that's a great idea. It's fun and immersive. Is there an app people use to do them, or do they just create an actual account and screenshot them to post? Prank Me NotJust fill in the fields and go to town. They'll even host the image for you. I appreciate it.

So I just made a new WFWF.COM thread for anybody who wants to post fake tweets and such for Under the Dome. Kinda' meeting Markw halfway for his suggestion as this is one thread everyone can use that will stay up until the show is posted so we can avoid too many WFWF.COM threads. It will get archived and we can make a new thread for the next show if people like the idea. I think that's a great idea. It's fun and immersive. Is there an app people use to do them, or do they just create an actual account and screenshot them to post?

Put together a real attempt at a show poster; not some five minute hack job Zmey-zilla poster. Hope you like it. It looks great.

How are everyone's RPs shaping up so far? I'm really worried I might not get mine done in time. I actually read yours earlier today. I'm going to read through it again before leaving feedback, but I enjoyed it.

Those aren't plans that are going to make him happy. At this point, I'm only here for my own amusement. No one else's. I'm also here for your amusement.

Now? To have deleted the Hall of Fame and leave the ruins to whoever comes after me to do with as they please. Then? Our most tenured members would have been polled using the current batch of HoFers. The top 3-4 vote getters would have been inducted as the "first class" of the "new" Hall of Fame. The rest would - get this - remain in the Hall of Fame as part of a "Legacy" class (similar to how WWE handles the Haystacks Calhouns, etc. of the world). If subsequent years saw more legacy guys make the grade, they'd get pulled from there and get a proper induction with a little write up, picture, etc. As it last stood, the Hall of Fame was a list of names with no accolades, no mention of when they went in, no nothing. Just names. We were going to preserve that, and do one better to the folks who got doubly vetted with our new process. That was apparently too big an affront to the history of this place. I got smacked with the lowest accusation I've ever been hit with here, and eventually, we just said f*ck it. If someone else wants to tackle it one day, they can, but as far as I'm concerned, my last interaction with the HoF took place a little over a month ago when I just wiped it from the board. I would add that I proposed we divide the HoF into two wings: one for characters that would recognize the best writers and one for members who went above and beyond in keeping the fed going in tough times and helped it grow in more prosperous times. Not every great writer is a great member or vice versa. There should be room for both in a HoF. Seemed like a reasonable idea at the time but it got crapped on so... *shrug* whatever... Not a bad idea.

Sounds like the perfect way to handle it. I don't understand why there was any resistance. I don't either. In the months before I just deleted it, I also spent several weeks arbitrarily adding increasingly bizarre names to the list in the hopes that such a storied and revered itemization of the WFWF greats would attract enough attention for someone to take notice, but they didn't, similar to the manner in which no one really noticed (enough to say boo, anyway) when it just disappeared entirely. And now it's gone. I'm sorry it came to that. I completely understand your frustration.

Why not wipe the slate clean and do a member-based vote for the HOF each year? Ask bad guy™. That's 100% more damaging than what King Richius and I had planned. What is your plan?

It's never too early for me to ask again if anyone other than @ballparkb0b wants to write a match? Just keep in mind the more matches I have to write the longer it will take to get results out so your efforts would be greatly appreciated and help with a nice quick turn around time for the show. Let me at Keto King vs Broom

Drakz was the first person to be inducted in the WFWF Hall of Fame. And the last.
Not true. He isn't in the Hall of Fame. He is in our hearts.

King Richius CM PoorCan I turn the Hall of Champions into a physical location in either this rp or a future one? I have been inspired by the death of the hall of fame. It's called the Hall of Drakz.

Someone explain like I'm five what all this is. I'm intrigued. You heard of EWR or Promotion Wars? A pro-wrestling booking/simulation game. I poured hundreds of hours into PW.

Peter Jackson is an overrated director. All his stuff is way too long and full of too much useless crap. I won't watch anything these days if I know he is the director. I liked his original batch of Rings movies. I also liked his King Kong remake. His Hobbit experiment was self-aggrandizing garbage. It takes less time to read that book than it does to watch the three movies he turned it into. The Hobbit should have been 1, maybe 2 movies. Making it a trilogy was clearly a cash grab.

Interesting fact: My debut opponent last year was Joe Bishop. My return opponent is Shuggy.
