We're considering a GoFundMe campaign, he just has to figure out the tiers and rewards. I hope this works out too because I dont see anyone else being proactive about bringing this tech to the action figure community. A great reward for higher tiers would be discounts. For example, if you donate $250, you get a 5% discount for life.

As a WWF Hasbro customizer, I would definitely use your services.

I don't want to brag, but my first 'show' was a local punk band called Holy Head and my first 'concert' was the Spice Girls.

I'm 100% certain that you listen to Led Zeppelin. You are 100% wrong. Gross. I could fill a damn book trying to cover the bases of all my favorites. I've been kind of all over the place for longer than I can remember now. I cut my teeth on a lot of the stuff my mom was listening to when we first moved back here, so I've got a more than average dose of Billy Joel and Elton John running through my system. When I was 14-16 I was obsessed with Slipknot, and I still dig them just fine but I like the stuff Corey does with Stone Sour more these days. High school was all punk, all the time. I kinda overdid it on the niche groups like Dropkick Murphys at the time, but I've still got my holdovers. I was lucky enough to have come up at a time when Boston was still delivering some decent local acts which were the bulk of all I'd listen to for a long time - the Ducky Boys, Far From Finished, Darkbuster, etc. I dig on a lot of hip hop too. For a while the only guy I liked sort of intentionally ironically was this nerdcore rapper MC Lars, but some of my favorites these days are Eminem (all time in that category), Slaine, the House of Pain guys, Dre, and Jay-Z. Really anything, though if it's sonically interesting. Lately a lot of my big discoveries have been of the borderline folk-country, acoustic singer/songwriter ilk. My newest favorite artists have kinda all skewed along that line: Skinny Lister, Frank Turner, Will Varley, Lincoln Durham, Justin Townes Earle, William Elliott Whitmore, Joe Pug. The last concert I went to was Kesha. The last "show" I went to was Skinny Lister. I've been fortunate enough to have caught reunion shows of three of the best Boston area exports that I missed during their heyday: The Bruisers, Sinners & Saints, and Avoid One Thing. Frank Turner is really good.

Yeah. Give "Metamodern Sounds in Country Music" a listen. I'd be surprised if you don't like it, since you dig Stapleton. Stapleton is a throw back for me which is what I like in country music. I never listened to any of it until I moved to South Carolina but my ex-father in law was a huge fan of Waylon Jennings and Hank Sr. and Jr. He is who got me into some country. I love old country. George Jones, Hank Sr. and Jr. especially. Cypress Hill! Valley of Chrome is my song.

You need Sturgill Simpson in your life. I have heard only a few songs by him. Pretty sure he pops up on my Hank III pandora station here and there. He is pretty good. I need to listen to more before I give it more of an opinion. Yeah. Give "Metamodern Sounds in Country Music" a listen. I'd be surprised if you don't like it, since you dig Stapleton.

I don't listen to any of the same stuff as all you people. It is either 90's hip hop (west coast except Wu Tang and Nas), classic rock like Zeppelin or Cream, 80's and 90's Rock/Metal with Motley Crue, Billy Idol, Pantera, Faith No More, or it is electronica sh~t that Drakz turned me onto like Massive Attack. I don't like any form of Punk music, new rap music is awful except Kendrick Lamar and Lil Dicky, country music has gone to sh~t outside of Chris Stapleton. The majority of music that comes out these days does nothing for me. You need Sturgill Simpson in your life.

I listen to a lot of cover guys anymore if I don't go to my usual P!ATD or MCR emo/scene ish. Jonathan Young, PelleK, Ladina Spence, and AmiLee. They're pretty solid, PelleK in particular. Insane vocal range. I can't say I've listened to any newer bands lately. If I'm listening to original music, I'll listen to Orla Garland and Seckond Chaynce have been my mood setters lately. I guess if I'm gonna go with bands people may know...Icon for Hire, Pretty Reckless, City of the Weak, Bad Religion, MSI, Heaven Shall Burn, Ruelle, Blind Guardian, Alestorm, Waylander, Hidra. Then again my last four songs played on my ride home from work were none of those. "Praying" by Kesha, "Castle on the Hill" by Ed Sheeran and "All Along the Watchtower" Jimi's version, and "Valleys of Neptune" also by Hendrix. Never got into Zeppelin, AC/DC, Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd etc. I've got songs by each on my playlist but I'm not gonna call myself some kinda diehard. P!ATD. You're alright. I'm also a huge FOB fan. Older stuff, I love Bob Seger and James Taylor. George Jones, Hank Sr. and Jr.

You guys are listening to world renown bands, and I'm over here listening to Brand New, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Neutral Milk Hotel, David Bazan, Frightened Rabbit, and Tracy Chapman. Good stuff! Takes me back to my college radio DJ days in the late 80s and 90s. If you're into that kind of stuff I recommend you cruise over to Youtube to check out any and all tracks from Abunai! Good friends of mine from Boston who did the psychedelic folk rock thing quite well. Abunai! doesn't exist anymore but one of them is back with a new band that has a real 60s garage band feel - the Prefab Messiahs. Also worth checking out. Always up for checking out new music. Thanks.

Pantera and Guns n Roses were already taken. Now at least those are two acts I could just as easily dump on the content of. I'm 100% certain that you listen to Led Zeppelin.

With this new "Rock and Roll" trend, it's hard to keep up with these kids today. I should have known better. Bands today have such sh*tty names. Pantera and Guns n Roses were already taken.

I think I assumed This Will Destroy You was an album title. I'm very out of touch. With this new "Rock and Roll" trend, it's hard to keep up with these kids today.

I usually listen to Hammock or This Will Destroy You. Went to see This Will in London about 2 years ago. For such a small band they sound f*cking massive! I'd love to see them live sometime. Glad you had a good time.

TIL, you're Gordan Ramsay. Sort of but I am not a chef. But the essence of the company is the same general stuff you would see on Kitchen Nightmares or Bar Rescue. The company was started by a few chefs and one restaurateur who saw a lot of local places having issues that could have been fixed if they had been educated. I kind of fell into this job. The hours suck but the money is good and I get take time off most of the time as long as I give them enough notice. Sounds interesting.

I've long since accepted that I can't sell my dreams, but I'm not about to make a career out of trying to drive others toward that same realization. What a miserable existence that must be. That is kind of what I do now. I work for a company that basically sends me to different restaurants to help fix them or help the owners or company get back on track. I come in tell people how they suck at running a restaurant. TIL, you're Gordan Ramsay.

I can't listen to music when I write (or read, for that matter). My mind can't bend that way. I also have a hard time eating while listening to music, for that matter. Music definitely plays into the equation of getting me into the mindframe I need to be in to write. I've always coded as I go. I don't edit once it's on paper, but I do as I go. Everything I write, from scenes to monologues, is very stream of consciousness. Sometimes I have a line in mind that I need to build to or incorporate in some way. For my latest Rodriguez RP, I really wanted to use that Pesci line from Goodfellas. It wound up being the title. All of this is probably why I'll never get my book on paper. A friend of mine is about to publish, and just reading his tales of back and forth exploits with his editor makes me want to hang myself, and I have no vested interest in the project. It's possible that I'm on some sort of spectrum, but I also think it's arrogant as f*ck to self diagnose, so I ain't gonna. I used to drink when I wrote, but I just don't really drink anymore. I self published my first novel. A friend helped with editing. I listen to music while writing, but usually post-rock. Vocals distract me. I usually listen to Hammock or This Will Destroy You.
