Apparently some Smyths have some good clearance stock with £1 stickers, someone on a bargain finding Facebook page found a warlord for £1
Might be worth checking out your locals smyths

Checked out my local Home Bargains they had Basic 69 and Battle packs 38 in No idea on price they were no labels and it was too busy for me to find out Might go back tomorrow for the BP38 Bellas set - does anyone know what Home Bargains are charging for this set? Pretty sure it’s £9.99, I saw the KO and Cena Battlepack in my local the other day and I think I remember that being the price Correct All basics at home bargains are £4.99 and battlepacks £9.99

Hi, why does this Kalisto have so many bids? Is it quite rare with the slammy? 401522564381 The price is at £6.50?? But just to answer all of your questions.... if an ebay item is going for more money than retail value, it’s usually because this item is no longer availbale at retail

Sorry for another noob question guys but is there a reason why people tend to not order/import from ringside collectibles or american websites as the conversion rate is **** agreed but still I imagine would work out cheaper? I order off Ringside, its the only way to get their exclusives for around £35 with postage, if not you'll pay more on ebay etc Amazon.com can be quite good for ordering USA exclusive stock now and again

Thanks for that. Quite new to the site, do you guys tend to keep them boxed or open them up? In truth if i was to start collecting again I would probably keep them boxed and I imagine in years to come the price would rise? I mean im an insanely huge wrestling fan and like the idea of collecting however could be a nice payout say in 20 years time (i realise this is a random example but I think you’ll understand what i’m getting at lol) Hey pal It varies, some keep them boxed, some open. I personally open mine As for the financial side of it, when I started collecting several years ago there was a pretty decent market for WWE Mattels, they sold pretty well in store and there was a decent secondary market for them on eBay and the like. Unfortunately in the last couple of years, particularly in the last year, for one reason or another the market seems to be on a down swing. People aren't buying figures at retail like they used to (either because they have no interest in the guys being produced, or because of paint apps, or they're waiting for heavy reductions, things of that nature), so loads of figures are ending up heavily discounted and in many cases now ending up in your clearance spots like B&M's and Home Bargains. People are also having a much harder time shifting figures now on places like eBay and Facebook groups than they would have a few years ago. LONG AND SHORT... if the thought of making a small profit or even your money back is a factor in deciding whether or not to start collecting, then I'd probably steer clear. Things may pick up, but chances are they'll go the way of Jakks and ultimately be worthless I agree to this to an extent, definitely don't go into this game thinking about profit as the market constantly changes... but.... I've just sold pretty much all of my collection I'm down to the last 50 figs, and I've made a very tidy profit, I had around 213 individual MOC figs and around 10 loose, I've sold them for around an average cost per fig of £40, some sold for less (£20 for DM Taker for example) and some sold for a lot more (pink and black ringside bret for £199) so I'm close to taking in around £10,000 and I spent nowhere near that for my figs, as the majority I brought were at retail price. So Yes you can make some money but on the other hand its not worth going in thinking you will, if the market goes down, so does the cost of the figs and bare in mind I've collected for years now so the profit in terms of how long I've been collecting is very little

As much as I appreciate these threads (I’m a uk flashback collector who thinks Mattel can go themselves) These threads won’t work, they never have and never will The simple fact is, Mattel have decided to make 95% of flashbacks exclusives and our UK stores do not want them, so it’s not completely Mattels fault it’s our UK stores too (they can also go themselves) I used to love collecting Mattel wwe flashbacks (they are the best selling toys for a reason) but they now do not supply my stores with what I need which means for me the fun has gone from collecting and I have now stopped. My advice is, if you aren’t able to collect the figs you want then stop

It sucks. I don't think the US fan base realise how good they have it. They always have the best selection and prices for every toy line. I've alawys been a fan of G.I. Joe, and was gutted that the 25th anniversary line never made it to the UK. Woild be nice if some of other toy lines like MOTU, Bucky O Hare, SH Figuarts Turtles & Storm Collectible's Mortal Kombat figures were as readily accessible in the UK as they are in the US. They even have Neca figures in their Toys R Us stores! Have Smyths mentioned if they are trying to get any of the new WWE lines in store? Someone from Smyths twitter mentioned ages ago they were looking to get TNF but its literally pointless speaking to anyone from Smyths about future lines both in store and on social media...

Has Bill ever mentioned whether the UK will be getting TNF/Hall Of Fame/Hall of Champions figures? Would be really annoyed if we don't, especially with the Elite line phasing out Flashbacks, because I don't have any interest in the current product. Saw HBK at B&M earlier, but decided not to pull the trigger. His face looks more like mid 2000's Shawn Michaels to me. I Spoke to mattel directly a couple of weeks ago and after spending around 4 days investigating they informed me... "Hello WE are sorry for the delay in coming back to you. We have been advised that the following items are not part of the UK range and we have no retailers listing the products. – Wwe Flashback series - Wwe Hall of champions series - Wwe fan central We are sorry for any disappointment caused." in terms of TNF and HOF, these are no longer active lines so my guess is unless home bargains, bandm or entertainer pick up these old lines then we won't be getting those either of course all this is just the current state of play, Smyths etc could decide to put an order in this is the reason i have stopped collecting... its sad times

Im a MOC collector, the only loose figs I have are flashbacks that come in battlepacks or a multipack with newer wrestlers
For example - Shawn from the Shawn/Taker Battle Pack... Warrior from the warrior/cena battle pack etc
