Ok, cool. Sounds like a good game plan. My Brock is as solid as a rock. I'll be heading to Walmart for another one, plus Oops!. We are up to our knees in Lesnars here. My Wal-Mart will probably pay me to take one lol. Thanks for the tips! I added a little bit more detail above about my heating process. Ok, so your advice has worked wonders. I'm working on TWO Brocks: one for a Goldberg and one for a Batista. The tattoo removal process is going well and I maintain basically all of the figure gloss using Goo Gone. I used the microwave and two cups of hot water to soften the figure for the torso separation trick, and it DID minimize the damage. The only issue I have is slight seam separation under the arms due to prying. Do you have any sort of method to use to maybe re-heat and pull the plastic back to make the seam look better? Thanks again!

Awesome work! I'm trying my hand at this as well. Unfortunately, we both just missed a Retro Goldie on eBay for $21 which is as good as it gets right now if you don't want to back order as it until mid December. A couple questions if you don't mind.. 1) I'm having some trouble splitting the Brock torso. How do I go about this without causing scratches/damage? 2) How do I remove Brock's tattoos but maintain the shiny gloss over those areas like you have? Thanks in advance, brother! For starters, when I picked up the Brock at Walmart for this custom, I specifically looked for one that had a loose looking seam on the side. He went through two rounds of hot water. I get two coffee cups filled with water. Put the first cup in for 5 minutes. Immediately pull out of the microwave and put your figure in it. While the figure is warming up, put your 2nd cup in the microwave for 5 minutes. Transfer your figure for another 5 minutes in the 2nd cup. So 10 minutes total in hot water. After that, I just used my box cutter and started right under the arm pits going down on each side. It cracked pretty easy. I didn't even have to go above the arms/shoulder with my knife once the sides were split. I used Oops! remover to remove the tattoos. My method includes two paper towels. One for the Oops! and one with water to remove the Oops. I tear the towel into small pieces and work in about a quarter inch area at a time. Wipe the area with Oops! and immediately hit the area with your water paper towel. The figure did lose a little of the gloss finish though...but I plan I painting some chest hair over that area. The key is to get the Oops off as soon as possible as it will erode/melt/warp the plastic if you leave it on too long. I also recommend wearing gloves during this. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain the process to me. I'll let you know how mine turns out. And I'll keep you posted if I bump into a "cheaper" Goldberg.

So, I just picked up an extra Triple H and ordered a basic Eddie Guererro off ebay last week. I photoshopped leg flames and his "Latino" on decal paper, so I'm doing purple pants Eddie with "Frog Splash" finisher. I know how people hate the jumpers, but I feel like he had to be one with his move. The flames are a blue to green blend and the Latino is in green. I'll post pics soon.

Hey guys! I have the Owen head on the Mr. Perfect Hasbro body, and I'm also doing a custom Retro Eddie figure with purple pants.
But I'm having a tough time finding the tights logos for both guys that I could print up for decals. Would anyone be able to help me out with a good template? I'll owe ya one!
Thank you!

I personally am really excited to get a Kurt. It's been a pretty good year for Mattel getting the green light on new guys. Angle, the Hardyz, Goldberg, I'm sure there's more I hope they do Angle from late on in his WWE run with the black shoes and gumshield, he looked hard AF around then Agreed. A shame the injuries and drugs took effect because by 2006, Angle's gimmick was on point during the ECW run. I'd love '06 Angle for his Retro figure too, but I bet we'll end up with Survivor Series 1999 version.

There was someone on here trying to connect a Brock torso to Austin legs to make a new Goldberg body. If you're reading this, did it work out? Sort of...the pieces don't exactly connect seamlessly like an elite or basic due to the spring action on Austin. I'll post pics later tonight. Sweet. I'll be here waiting (with my extra Brock and Austin)

Can someone confirm once they get Retro HHH from ringside if he has the logo on both legs. I don’t want to get another that’s missing the logo. Thanks. Will let you know once I get them if someone else doesn't. If I do happen to see these at retail again and HHH has the logo on both legs I'll pick up replacements and then return the ones without it. I'd hang on to the error figures. Could be a moon belly Kamala situation 20 years from now.

Watch Walmart madstocks the shelves with $9.97 S2 this week lol That's how it usually works. You can't find it anywhere so you buy it on the internet for more. Then the next time you go to the store it's everywhere. Yep. It's like the deadbeat dad. He does crap for his kid, but HATES it when the stepdad comes in and gives nices things to the kid - causes the delinquent daddy to become father of the year for a week out of spite. Yes, I'm a stepfather lol

Looks like some other retros up there, Y2J, Cass, and HBK I guess? And WM6 Warrior? Great eyes.... BUT I think that's the Rock, not Cass. I KNEW that Nakamura figure had some kind of link to an HBK figure!

Who is this supposed to be? Brian Pillman? Yeah.. I actually used a Pillman Mattel head and did a one color hair repaint to stay true to the Hasbro/Retro look. Also doing the funny 4 logo decal for his leg

At this point I'm about ready to buy them on eBay. The amount of time I've wasted looking for them would make it worth it. I'm surprised you haven't already. I gave up a month ago. Went online and bought 2 of each. Ehh..so you'll pay an extra 10 bucks on each. Look at it as for what it truly is. A poorly distributed series. If we were in 1994, this is the Green card.
