What are your thoughts on the paint samples for Zybysko and French Angel paint samples? Faces looks rough IMO.

Imo storm are another level They also put out a lot less product I think than super 7 and that has to be part of why they’re so good. Storm figures are the pinnacle of wrestling figures IMO. I can't think of anyone else who is doing them better. I just wish they did more of them lol. I actually have the Storm Hogans as the only Hogans on display on my shelves. I think they're better than Mattels. They're bulky, fun, highly poseable, and have a bunch of swappable parts. My only issues with Storm so far are the bleed that happens with their clothing and the fragility of small items like glasses. I think I've broken several pairs.

I'm staying away from these until we see some finished figures and/or some painted prototypes (not just renders). These just don't feel as professional as Chella and ZST. I'm generally leery of products that feature typos on the main graphics (French "Angle," "Fissure" 3). Isn't that just French? I could be wrong but I think it's just a nod to the Angel's heritage. 🤷 L’ange is French for Angel. It was definitely a typo because they fixed it for the Major Pod promo graphics.

I'd say the line is dead. This was a great concept with a lot of hard work. The soft goods were the highlights. Everything else was very poorly executed. I didn't think this line was poorly executed. Series 1 was absolutely incredible. I didn't like series 2 as much, and I think the execution there WAS a little off. (For example, EVIL's robe bleeding all over him.) I'd say it's failure has to do with the infrequency and the wait between lines. It just never caught momentum.

Hi all. New to this forum but i am after some info. I recently picked up what appear to be the Bulgarian Blimp and Killer Klondike from the Diamond toy makers IWA Star studded wrestler line but the colours are completely wrong and I can't find any reference of these colourways anywhere. I'm pretty sure they are not repaints Could they be a Bootleg of a Knock off??? If any one has any info on these guys that would be great. Link below to a photo of them on my instagram as i couldn't figure out how to upload a pic. http://instagr.am/p/CdWBdW6scGe Cheers Very interesting! They definitely look good enough to not be custom, but I've never run across them before.

I've never even heard of this line before??? Is it by Mattel or someone else? I don't see it on the figure database. Do you have any more info on this??? AFAIK this line is done, but here's everything that Mattel's released in the 12" scale: www.wrestlingfiguredatabase.com/mattel-wwe-truemoves.html. There hasn't been anything since an abbreviated Rey and Jeff Hardy series in 2020.

Best way to go is this. I can put together a gallery for Masters at some point, but it won’t be very soon. Not a ton of demand there.

Thank you, Karl! I was actually contacted off the boards by someone had all of these saved. I was just coming back to let the thread know that it was all good.
I appreciate your effort, either way. Thank you so much.

You all probably know the drill by now. I run www.WrestlingFigureDatabase.com, and I'm trying to put together a section for Jakks Pacific's WWE Maximum Aggression. I have high quality images for the released series, but can't find the protos for series 4-6 in any threads (all the images are broken or they're very small).
Anyone holding the originals? The series are as follows:
Maximum Aggression Series 4: Kane, Matt Hardy, Mr. Kennedy, and Shelton Benjamin. Maximum Aggression Series 5: CM Punk, John Cena, Matt Hardy, and Triple H. Maximum Aggression Series 6: Rey Mysterio, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and Undertaker.

I've noticed an incredible decrease in quality since around series 3 (Darby's ankles are so weak) but really hitting its peak with series 5/6. Nearly every figure in series 5 is tremendously loose, and SCU/Jungle Boy/Luchasaurus will have undoubtedly f'ed up my display by the time I get home from work today. In 6, Hager has multiple dye spots from the shirt in addition to joint issues, and the coloration on MJF is just sickly.
From a financial perspective, I've cut down to picking and choosing for AEW. I was collecting everything but these issues have made displaying them not really "fun" anymore. I've gone from preordering whole sets on RSC to grabbing one from Unmatched Series 1 and two from Unrivaled Series 6.
If I were confident in qualty, I'd have ordered 4 of 6 in Unrivaled series 7...Instead I've purchased none. I really hope they get it together.

Hey everyone,
I'm having some trouble finding information on Vinyl Aggression series 7 and am seeing conflicting reports about the lineup. I've done a search of WFigs and can find references to most series' line ups, but it seems like series 7 is where information--and production and availability--really took a dive.
Does anyone have a definitive checklist?
I think it's: Cena, Kane, Rey, Ricky Ortiz, Khali, and Triple H...BUT I've seen Boogeyman and Beth Phoenix thrown around. (Though I can find no physical evidence of either.)
What say you?
Also, does anyone have a Cena Series 7 MIB picture?
Thanks in advance!

I’m not a custom guy at all but I might have to make an exception for this figure IF I’m going to get it…can anyone tell me if this head will pop off as easily as the UE heads so I could just use one of the spares on this figure? Wouldn’t be perfect but far better than Gene Simmons. I’ve only ever swapped UE heads which we know are designed to do so, do heads on elites swap as easy? Or are they different? Boil some water. Turn off heat. Put the body, headfirst, in. Wait a minute or so. The head will pop off easily.

Nothing exemplifies this board more than Mattel listening to its customers saying it's not a good enough value, adding an announce table people were asking for and a figure of one of the most popular wrestlers possible and they STILL think it's not enough. I'm beginning to think maybe all those people who claim wrestling figure collectors are too cheap for their own good are right. THIS. You can look back on this thread and see that I've been critical of this initiative because I simply didn't feel it was worth the price for what we'd receive at 5k. With an electronic entrance, super-detailed ring, and 2x figures, this is $250 all day. (I'm not even going to count the announcer pack because who knows what we're dealing with quality wise there. It looks lackluster.)
Anyone asking for anything more expects Mattel to be a charity, isn't go to back it no matter what, or just loves being contrary. If THIS doesn't get backed, it tells me that there are not enough WWE Mattel collectors willing to spend this much to justify a second project...and at that point, I'd feel absolutely no resentment toward Mattel for making that decision.
If you want free stuff, get this to 8k so we can have an entrance, ring, 3x figures, ring skirts, and the announcer pack for $250. That other stuff is gravy if we're able to get past 5k.

It's up to us now. If we back this and get it up to 7k, this is a fantastic price.

We have a Twitter account where we will tweet out when products are available online. Probably not the frequency as some others, but pretty frequent. Typically, we will know when products hit because we have Twitter and IG alerts for some select accounts that will catch most drops. When they post, we get a push notification, then we share. We never refresh webpages. We have no bots. No software that helps. We also share information on how you can use Brickseek and Popfindr to find products. Why do we share it? Because scalpers DON’T. They’d rather that type of information be kept as tight as possible so they can clean up as much as they can. Logging into multiple accounts to scoop products that have quantity limits, etc. Our little group of people that helps with our account feels like it’s the ONLY way to help individual collectors. If you look at our posts - last night with Hulk and Hardy for example - there are typically a handful of “thank you” replies from collectors that were able to scoop them. Could they be scalpers too? Maybe. But we’d like to think not. In fact, 100% of the time, we SHARE before WE buy. It’s actually what cost us Slaughter on SDCC day. You are going to have a hard time convincing us this is adding to the “problem”. We’d argue it’s one of the only tools in the arsenal to help. Amen. Ya'll do a service for me because I don't have those alerts set up, and I follow a select few people on Twitter (you being one of them). I've been able to get so much stuff I would have definitely otherwise missed thanks to you.
I read that post calling--not specifically--you and so many others who I think are awesome "problems," and, well, I couldn't disagree more.
Thanks for all you do.

The fact they chose Diesel to make as a UE is one of the reasons I donated. I don't know who a better choice could be since he was the face of the New Gen. Might have been better if instead of Doink they did an HBK. Both could be in their 2 dudes with attitude gear...thatd be a new attire for both of them instead of such a plain looking Diesel UE. Interesting. Diesel had the exact opposite impact on me. Such a boring figure even if it’s ultimate.

Like many, I am disappointed with Mattel's first offer--but over the last few weeks, I've consistently said "I will be backing it."
To be honest, as the days go by, the likelihood of that dwindles.
While I love what Mattel has done for the WWE line, they created something that few people really want at an inflated price, bundled with unexciting items we'd be likely to get at retail eventually. If this were just the ring or just the entrance stage at a lower cost, this would likely be funded by now. I've heard the following arguments for why Mattel structured the deal this way:
-Crowdfunding supports projects that are not cheap. -Mattel wouldn’t waste their time with small items they can just throw on places like Ringside. -$100 doesn’t need crowdfunding.
If that's the case, this is the wrong project fundamentally: If Mattel could have sold the ring or the entrance at online retailers at lower price points, they should have. If both of these items would get online retailer or physical shelf space, why are we crowdfunding them?
It's then logical to ask myself, "Well, maybe there was demand for a New Generation bundle that definitely couldn't/wouldn't be sold elsewhere." And then I realize what I said and my brain explodes because all arguments don't make any sense anymore because no one wanted this over the litany of other items this could be.
I'm all about community, but I also wonder when I'm doing a thing just to do a thing, even if that thing feels inherently wrong and like I'm enabling bad precedents.
Opinions are like buttholes, and this is mine.

Yeah, same as it was for Nakamura and the Asuka. Hopefully these don't end up too expensive on eBay as I'd like to pick both of them up. You can always try somewhere like Zen Market for aftermarket in lieu of eBay and MAYBE save a bit, but just a head's up that these, along with the Sofubis be Medicom Toy, tend to be pretty pricey.
