I have to laugh that people are still buying a Sabu repaint, despite the knowledge that the figure itself can't stand unaided (due to poor design, which really should have been identified and remediated during quality control) but still people are willing to buy a figure that they're unlikely to receive this side of Christmas I have to laugh at people who even have a flutter of a thought about what another person spends their money on

People that are so anti a wrestling company are funny to me. Having an annoying fan base on social media, and an owner that comes across as a jackass will do that unfortunately.

Looking at the photos The MWFP posted of the ZST series 1 figs with Hasbros, they definitely look to fit right in with them. To my eyes any way.

I remember when S7 got "their" NJPW shipment (even though RSC had already sent theirs to customers) in at port. Mind you, this was heavy pandemic. But it took weeks to process. I'd bet good money you guys don't see your Zombies toys until August. Their container(s) likely got held up for a customs inspection.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited that ZST retros are on theIr way…and I’m certainly not totally hip to how it all works, but if it docks on June 7th, it could still be quite the wait to offload the containers and for him to take possession of the product!? I feel like it’ll be mid July now, at the earliest. Im a logistics manager. With our containers, they are typically out of the port within 2-3 days, depending on availability of trucking. You only get a few free days to be in the port after youre discharged, so its always wise to get it out ASAP. The exception is if your container gets picked by customs to be inspected. Last time that happened with one of my containers it took almost 2 weeks.

Am I the only one who finds it weird that people speculate on a man's downfall? I hate the guy but even I know that no one is literally expecting every single piece to be 100% perfect regardless of what he said. And I also know that it wont affect his sales if there are issues. Its to be expected in any toy line. Only people with an axe to grind will legit try to have a "gotcha!" tantrum.

I have followed the MWFP guys a few days on IG. Not my cup of tea, so I unfollowed. I really don’t get all this hate for them. Just unfollow and you are free again. They don’t force anyone to watch their stuff. Looking forward to H&F wave 1. Agreed on Rudat being redundant for the H&F line. ZST should move on with someone more passionate instead of the nostalgic „value“ Rudat might have for him. I listen because I’m interested I figured. I don’t agree with everything they say and do but I do sometimes But why not listen just because I don’t agree? Who wants to live in an echo chamber where people just all think and act the same way? It’s healthy to listen to opinions and things you disagree with because it fosters debate, makes you think and all being said you can provide a counter argument if you don’t agree. I supported the pod from day 1, got their first shirts which come with the signed promo etc but doesn’t mean I don’t disagree with them as much as I agree. Imo you can see the change from then they left WWEand become more about this as their brand than they did when still working for WWE Like them or not they have a huge influence snd it’s only right they’re fair and unbiased. Not a single human on earth is completely fair and unbiased. And no one has to be. Theres nothing wrong with pushing personal preference and business interests. They dont control you or anyone, so what their opinion is on anything doesnt matter. Everyone makes their own decisions. And if that bothers you, either ignore that aspect of the podcast, or dont listen at all. What do you gain by continuously going on about it? Never fails to leave this thread for a few days, come back, and see the same couple people complaining about a podcast they dont HAVE to listen to, and figures they dont HAVE to buy. And I think Zombie is a punk. But geez, some of you need to let it go. What if the podcast tells you to buy it? why would I make any decision in my life based on what a podcast says?

Some of you seem way too personally invested in this. The guy comes across as an ass at times, but I dont take an ounce of time to think about it, let alone endlessly discuss it. It has zero affect on me. simple solutions for simple problems - dont buy it if you dont like the guy and his approach to doing his business. If you bought it and are that greatly affected by the wait time, cancel your order and buy something now with the money. Droning on and on and on about how "he should do this" and "if x doesnt happen then Y is a fail" etc etc etc is the definition of insanity. The thing you dislike will NOT change yet you continue to look for them to. I understand that this is a discussion forum, to discuss, but a couple of you - well, mainly one of you, are just persistently pointing out every little thing over and over to a point where it seems it is affecting you more than it probably should. I will thank you though for providing comical content to read while I am at work. Thank you for that. This is just a way to shut down any criticism one has against something. If you’re happy to be a paypig that puts up with unclear excuses for delays then cool. No one denies his prototypes look great but it’s not unreasonable to complain about his attacks on other figure companies when he hasn’t delivered on his premium product. you and I are not built the same. Say I did get bothered by one company taking shots at another, or delays on a little plastic toy - I would say so once and move on from said company. I wouldnt flounder around regurgitating those feelings over and over every time it happens. "Paypig that puts up with unclear excuses for delays" ... lol. I really hope I never get to the point where a delay on a toy that I can cancel at any time affects me to these levels. Im content not worrying about them and knowing they will get here when they do. Paypig? Sure, I can live with that.

I do not have any interest in the chella figures, as they look terrible, but how do they feel? They kind look like they feel the same as a rubber ducky. if that makes sense. That's what I've heard they're like, but tbh, if I were gonna buy one, I couldn't see myself taking it out of the package anyway. I would have to imagine just by looking at these things with my god given eye balls, that the chella figures are greeeeeatly less detailed and far less quality. I can see why that might get their stuff out faster. They literally look like rubber ducky wrestling figures.

I waited 9 months for Dynamite Kid, and was less than impressed when he did arrive…seems like I’ll be waiting 11-12 months for Dino and Double J, but if the quality is there, I’m okay with that. I ordered a set of series 1 first day they came up. I could care less when they arrive. I have no immediate need to have them in my hands tomorrow. Theyre toys. Not a necessity to life. I dont get that thought process. But thats me, and we're all different. Very much aware of that. wise thoughts from a wise man. Reading this thread amuses me though

Cornette is more relevant today then hes ever been. Any time anything happens in the wrestling business, go to twitter and youll see tons of "cant wait for cornette to talk about this"....the fact that so many AEW wrestlers lose their crap and get in war of words with him alone shows how relevant he is. Irrelevant people do not garner the attention he does, good or bad. the people who hate him will run to twitter and say hes "irrelevant" failing to realize theyre talking about him to do so. Its amusing. People loved when hed go on rants about Dunn and Russo....now that its about wrestlers they like its a problem. Cornette is the most entertaining human in wrestling and has been for a long time. he makes a ton of money from sitting in his house and speaking his mind. dude is living the life. relevant to pro wrestling pop culture, irrelevant to the matters of modern wrestling and it’s fans. Completely disagree. Modern wrestling fans are who speak about him most.

Some AEW superstars and fans David Meltzer can't take any of his criticism well. They know his opinions matter and hold alot of weight. So they let it get to them.

Right. Thats why all these AEW wrestlers get pissy about him. They, and alot of AEW fans, care about what Cornette thinks to alarming levels. If hes as irrelevant as some would want you to think, his opinions wouldnt get the traction that they do, Good or bad. Some aew fans care about what he thinks of aew wrestling, yes. Some aren't concerned with his opinions about wrestling, but are concerned about the sexist/homophobic/whatever rants he goes on. So ignore him. The easiest thing in the world to do. But people cant because they care so deeply about what he has to say. Irrelevant people dont get heard. No matter what they say.
