They look much better overall than series 1. Except for Adam Page, who ironically enough looks like Dallas Page.

There was a line that used to do this a long time ago, I forget the company but they did legends with bloody variants like Bundy and Abdullah the Butcher, etc. I never owned any but I saw them in wrestling magazines and always thought they were a cool idea. I'd probably pick up these for that nostalgia alone. I wanted all of those back in the day when looking through the catalog. Fun times.

Reminds me of something WCW would put out for the Toy Biz line. Partly due to Schiavone, I'm sure haha

Did the ECW line even sell that well? I'm sure it sold decently, but enough for the company's numbers?

I don't see how the face printing looks like dollar store KOs? What kind of fancy ass dollar stores are y'all shopping at? I also don’t see how the plastic looks cheap. How can you even tell? I’ll admit the protos looked better on some of these, while others look better than the protos, but some of the criticism is pretty petty. For first time figures they’re fine. My biggest critique is Kenny Omegas hair being black, I hope it’s the lighting There's just a certain quality to the plastic that comes across in the photos. Not even an overly cheap crapty plastic, it just looks cheaper compared to the prototypes, or indeed yes, Mattels. The faces? Yes, they look like bootlegs/knock offs of the figures originally shown. No matter your stance on these figures - whether or not you pre ordered, if you still like the look of them, didn't like the prototypes, etc - nobody can deny there is a significant downgrade when comparing what was originally shown to what they intend to sell. If I remember correctly it was the same with Mattel. I remember the figures they originally showcased being of a higher quality than what released in those first waves. However, not to this extent. I will also state that I am not biased. I never planned on buying these, and I sold off my Mattel figures years back. I do want the AEW line to succeed, and I think they will, but the bait and switch here is staggering.

These look terrible compared to the original prototype images. The plastic looks cheap, skin tones are off and look unfinished, and the faces look like those from bootlegs.
I know, that sounds negative, but it's also true. Such a shame. Maybe they will look better on release, or subsequent waves will look better.
These are crap.

Cool looking ring. Is it essentially just a repurposed Mattel basic ring though? As far as scale, and function?

I don't know why but I am not fully sold on VIS attire. I wanted some shine in black. I recall the photos shown at one of the events had the attire looking much better.

My favourite time collecting figures was during the TTL era. I Do agree with most of this, and it was annoying, especially looking back, but I was around 11-12 at the time and the availability of these figures in my local shops was amazing.
I missed out on some figures here and there, but no big deal.

Those are really cool. Only thing I would change is putting the screen to the left of the Raw/Smackdown signs.

I thought Jarrett was great in circa 2000 WCW. Over the top heel character, and his attire colours were brilliant.
I would love to see the silver and yellow.

1995-96 Hunter Hearst Helmsley. I always hated that he had elbowpads and no white wrist tape. The new arms didn't match up with the original torso so had to go with this one. Your fix ups are fantastic. Particularly Hunter and Jarrett. Great work with both.

For anyone who was curious, this is what I ended up putting together. Managed to find figure sized truss on amazon All the signage is attached with velcro so I can easily switch out different logos That is really cool. Love the lights and the unique layout of the stage and ramp.
